I. Objectives
A. Content Standard: The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and principles
in installing configuring computer systems
B. Performance Standard: The learners shall be able to install and configure computer system
based on established procedures and system requirements
C. Learning Competency: Prepare unit assembly to ensure OHS policies and procedures are
followed in accordance with system requirements
II. Content
Computer assembly procedures:
- The student must identify the external basic parts of the computer
- The student must explain the external parts of the computer and its function
- The student will demonstrate on how to disassemble assemble the external basic parts
of the computer

IV. Procedure
A. Pre-activity
Present the picture (External Parts of Computers). Let the student know the External Parts
of Computer presented in the picture.
B. Activity Proper
Divide the students into two groups each group has a leader and reporter. The students will
observe and write the procedure while the teacher demonstrate on how to disassemble
assemble the external basic parts of the computer.
C. Analysis
1. What will happen to a computer if there is no monitor?
2. What will happen to a computer if there is no system unit?
3. What will happen to a computer if there is no mouse?
4. What will happen to a computer if there is no keyboard?
5. What will happen to a computer if there is no AVR?
6. Why do we need to disassemble the external parts of the computer?
7. Why do we need to assemble the external parts of the computer?
D. Abstraction
Divide the students into two groups, each group will perform how to disassemble assemble
the external basic parts of the computer
E. Assessment/Evaluation
Quizzes
- Give the steps on how to disassemble assemble of the external basic parts of the
computer (20 pts).
- Give the proper steps on how to disassemble assemble the external parts of the
computer (30 pts)
