Special Instructions Good Tarps and Straps. Drivers must have PPE.

POD Documents Only Original documents will be accepted. POD Stamped & signed
include originals. Waybills & manifests

Registrations of truck (horse), both trailers. Git approval, tracker

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Invoicing and payment:

• No invoice will be processed without Order numbers and ORIGINAL POD’S;

• Must be submitted immediately after delivery in order to be paid timeously;

• Delivery notes MUST reflect the relevant Order number at all times.
• Loading and Off-loading:
• Drivers must check tonnage and quantities prior to departure from their loading points;
• All fines and/or delays due to overloading, will be for the Contractor’s (your) account;

• The Company (we) will not be held responsible for short loading if not informed prior
to departure from collection points, and tariffs will be adjusted accordingly.

Fines and Penalties:

The Contractor is responsible for all fines or penalties related to Traffic offences, Permits,
Overloading or delays in loading and offloading. No claims for the above will be accepted.

Late loading and off-loading:


The Contractor is responsible for any claims arising from vehicles being late at the loading
or offloading points.

Withdrawing of trucks:
The Contractor must give 30 days’ notice prior to withdrawing trucks; otherwise a penalty
of 50% of the invoice amount will apply.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS AS PER SHEQ STANDARDS

6.1 Conduct of Drivers


The Driver will at all times:
• Conduct himself courteously towards all other road users and personnel;
• Maintain a clean and neat physical appearance at all times;
• Obey and comply with all safety and security rules;
• Adhere to speed limits of 20 km/h to 40km/h as applicable on loading and offloading sites.

6.2 Protective clothing


The Driver will at all times on loading and off-loading sites, wear the following:
• Hard hat
• Reflective jacket and Overall bins
• Safety boots
• Protective goggles and Earplugs

6.3 Protected equipment for Trucks


The trucks will be equipped with the following at all times while loading and off-loading:
• Fire extinguisher (9kg) • Orange rectangle light (probe Light) • Reverse horn.

7 VERY IMPORTANT RE CONDITION OF TRUCKS


• No Open or Loose wiring on any vehicle
• No Oil leaks
• No Cracks on the loading bins or around the fi h wheel
• Only cerficated welding will be allowed on the bins
• Tyres in good condition
• Wheel nuts to be all in place.
