Plant Cell - Structure, Parts, Functions, Labeled Diagram

Plant cells contain a variety of membrane-bound organelles that carry out specific functions to keep the plant cell functioning normally. These organelles include the cell wall, chloroplasts, vacuoles, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi bodies, ribosomes, and a nucleus. The document provides detailed information on the structure and function of each organelle as well as the cytoskeleton and plasma membrane. It aims to describe the internal structure of plant cells and the roles of their organelle components.

Plant cells are eukaryotic cells, that are found in green plants,
photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae which means they
have a membrane-bound nucleus.

They have a variety of membrane-bound cell organelles that perform

various specific functions to maintain the normal functioning of the
plant cell.
