How to Mend a Puncture
- Remove the cause of the puncture, e.g. nail.
- Press the valve to let air out of inner tube.
- Remove the outer tire off.
- Pump the tube and press it. Locate the tube slowly under the water. Air bubbles indicate the
position of the puncture.
- Take the tube out of water and rub the punctured area with cloth. Clean it with sand paper.
- Spread rubber gum over the punctured area and place a patch over it. Press down hard and let
it dry.
- Pump up the tube again, check the air doesn’t escape from the punctured area. Let air out. Put
the tube back into the tire.
- Put tire back on the rim. Pump the tube. The bicycle is ready for ride.

HOW TO SEND SMS MESSAGES

SMS, or Short Messaging Service, messages are commonly referred to as text messages. The act
of sending an SMS is called "texting." To send a text message, or SMS, from a cell phone may be
straightforward or may be a bit complex, depending on the cell phone model.

Things you need :

Sms-enable cell phone.

How to Make Pancakes

Pancakes are a type of flat bread and very simple to make. Before we make pancakes, make sure
we have prepare all the (12) … such as; 2 cups of flour, 2 or 3 eggs, 1 ½ cups of milk, ½
teaspoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of butter, 5 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt.
First, crack the eggs into a bowl and beat it until creamy. Add flour and baking powder to the dry
ingredients. Add also some melted butter, sugar, milk, and a pinch of salt. Stir it gently. Heat the
frying pan and add some butter. Pour about 3 tablespoon of the mixture to the frying pan. Cook it
for about two minutes or until the colour of the pancake is golden. Cook the other side of the

1. The first wax is applied over the penciled-in outline of the pattern. Almost always the original
cloth is white or beige.
2. The cloth is dyed in the first dye bath. In this case the first dyebath is indigo blue. The area of
the cloth where the wax was applied in Step 1 will remain white.
3. Second application of wax is applied. In this case it is a dark brown color. A poorer quality of
wax is used to cover larger areas of cloth. The darker color helps to differentiate it from the
first wax applied. Any parts that are covered with this wax application will remain the indigo
color.

HOW TO MAKE FRIED RICE

‘Nasi Goreng’ or fried rice is a familiar food from Indonesia. If you want to know how to prepare
‘Nasi Goreng’, this is the procedure how to make it. Just follow this explanation :
Ingredients :
350 gr. Long Grain Rice
2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
1 Onion
2 Green Chillis, Sambal Ulek or Sambal Badjak.
1 Garlic Clove
1 Leek
1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
250 gr. Chicken meat
250 gr. Shelled Prawns

3 Tbs. Kecap Manis

Steps:

This dish is best made from cold leftover rice, but you can cook a fresh batch and leave it to cool
for at least 4 hours. First, beat the eggs and make into an omelette, slice into strips and set aside.
Next, heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan. Then add the chopped onion, leek, garlic and
chillis. Fry until the onion is soft. Add the Coriander and Cumin. Slice Chicken into strips and
add with the prawns to the onion mixture and cook, stirring occasionally until they are well
mixed. Add the rice, soya sauce and omelette strips and cook for a further 5 minutes. Finally,
decorate with some of the leftover leek and serve hot. Enjoy it.

Directions:
Cook macaroni in salted water. Drain it.
While it is still hot, mix in mustard and mayonnaise in a large bowl.
Mixture should be wet, but not creamy.
Stir in onions, paprika and salt. Mix well.
Taste for salt and mayonnaise content. Add more if needed.
Coat top of salad with a sprinkling of celery and stir in.
Cover and refrigerate a few hours to allow onion and paprika flavors to permeate.

How to use our printer from a Windows Laptop

Installing our office printer on a Windows Laptop/PC is very easy and can be very useful (no
more transferring files from one computer to another). In order to do this, you need to perform
the following operations:
1. Get the CD with the drivers for the printer; there are a couple of copies scattered
around the office.
2. Print a page with the printer information (you will basically need its IP address); this
can be done directly on the printer, by clicking enter twice, then right arrow twice and
then enter again;
3. Once you have the IP address, insert the CD and start installing the printer;
4. Tell the program you want to install a printer from a network, and the type the IP
address when asked for it;
5. That should be it; Windows might ask you to reboot your computer and then you will
be able to print!

How to charge The iPod shuffle

The iPod shuffle is an audio track player and a storage device. You can listen to music, podcasts,
audiobooks and store data files on the iPod shuffle.It's small size and long battery life make the
iPod shuffle completely portable, and charging via USB means you don't need to carry an AC
adapter around. The followings are the steps to charge it well.
1. Firstly, Plug the USB cable that came with the iPod Shuffle into the USB port on your
computer.
2. Then, Plug the other end of the USB cable into your iPod Shuffle earphones jack. On
some models, this end of the USB looks like a little docking station.
3. After that, check that the power button for the iPod is set to OFF, then check the status
light on the iPod. Orange means it's charging. Green means it's fully charged. If you see
no light, check that the USB cable is plugged directly into your computer's USB port (not
through a USB hub).
4. Later, Leave the iPod connected to your computer to charge. The first time you use it, it
needs about three hours to fully charge. iTunes should automatically launch on your
computer once it detects the iPod's presence, or you can double-click the application to
