A very good morning to the honourable judges, teachers, and

my dear fellow friends. Today I’m here to tell an interesting story.

The title of the story is the clever rooster and the tricky fox.

A dog and a rooster were best friends. One day, they went for a
walk in the jungle. They walked and walked until it was dark. “Oh no!
It is already dark. You will not be able to go home. My master will be
worried,” said the rooster. “Yes, my master will be worried too,” said
the dog. “If we go home now, we may get lost,” said the rooster. The
dog and the rooster were frightened. There was nothing they could do
as it was already dark. “Let us sleep in the jungle. We can go home
tomorrow,” said the rooster. “All right” replied the dog.

“Ho ho. It is dangerous here. There are many wild animals in

this jungle. Let us find a safe place to sleep,” said the dog. The rooster
and the dog started to look for a place. They found a big tree. The
rooster decided to sleep on one of the branches. “Where can I sleep?”
asked the dog. There is a big hole at the bottom of the tree. You can
sleep there,” said the rooster. “Alright” replied the dog.

In the jungle, lived a cunning fox. It was very proud of his

intelligence. He was hungry and wondering in search of food. He was
very hungry that he could not even walk. The next morning the
rooster crowed loudly. The fox heard the rooster’s crowed and said
“that’s my food” hungrily.

The fox planned to bring the rooster onto the ground and then it
would eat him up. The fox moved closer to the tree and pretend to be
the rooster's best friend. “Oh, my dear friend rooster! I’m seeing you
after a very long time. You seem to have lost some weight and have
become very weak. Come down and let me count your pulse and see
what is wrong,” said the fox. The rooster knew that the fox was a
tricky animal.
The rooster had an idea. “You are my dear fox! I'm feeling very
exhausted and weak. I can't even come down from the top of the tree,”
said the rooster. “Come up here,” said the rooster. “How do I come
up?” asked the fox. “There’s a big hole at the bottom of the tree. You
can go through there and come up through the trunk,” said the rooster.

The fox quickly runs into the hole. The dog was sleeping. The
dog was shocked to see the fox the dog jumped onto the fox. The fox
struggled but the dog was stronger. The fox became weaker and died.
Finally, the rooster and the dog walked home safely.
