SPST Switch
• SPST (Single Pole, Single Throw)
switch is one of the simplest types
of electrical switches.
SPST Switch
• Single Pole: This refers to the number of circuits
the switch controls. An SPST switch has one
pole, which can control one circuit at a time.
• Single Throw: This indicates the number of
positions the switch has. An SPST switch has
only two positions: ON and OFF.
2 Gang Switch
• Refers to a setup where two separate
switches are housed within the same unit
or wall plate.
• It allows you to control two separate
electrical circuits or devices from the same
location.
3 Gang Switch
• A 3 gang switch is a switch that
has three separate controls on a
single faceplate to operate different
light circuits.
• It is used to control 3 bulbs or
circuits in one location.
