RM3 Flight Recorder
General Information
The system traces each action regarding the RM3 module all the time.
These traces are called “RM3 Flight records” and
have the name convention: “RM3_yyyy_mm_dd_coded-serialnumber.CRYPT.TRC”
and are located:
in Qualifying Plus:
C:\QualifyingPlus\jdd\RM3_xxx_0\deviceTrace
How can I get the RM3 Flight Records from the system PC?
FRs are also stored in the Support.zip, that you can be download mostly with the SOP.

If you have access to Windows you can download the WNReport.zip that also contains
the FRs

Make sure that you have the CrypTA certificate: “Flight Recorder”.
When a connection to the corporate network is established no CrypTA-stick is required
Instead of click at: “File -> Load a FlightRecord” one Flightrecord can be put via Drag&Drop onto the
Flightrecorder-Icon or into an open Flightrecorder-window.
Click: “File -> Load FlightRecords” and select a directory, where the Flight Records are located

Introduction of Flight Recorder
Version of JDD, RM3 and Move reader Firmware and Currency Data
If you select an entry in the second window you can see in the right window
what has changed regarding the previous entry by a black highlighted line.
Under Config\Cash Units you find information about the cassette configuration of
the system.
E.g. this system is a 4 cassette system. Cassette 3 is configured as Recycle 20 XTS (0)
Under Config\Note Tables you can find out which denominations are loaded.
E.g. this system has Wincor Nixdorf test money loaded that contains 8 denominations.
By clicking on you can extend one line and more information will be popup.
A extended line is shown with .
In this example the thickness and measurements of 1 XTS will be displayed.
Under Config\Inventory you can find the Hardware Inventory tcnFru shows the part
Here you can figure out for example which modules have number of a module
been replaced (because serial number changed).

Furthermore you can jump from one month to the next or back,
dependent of the number of loaded Flight Records.
With the help of Inspection\Scope you can zoom in the transaction and
can perform a very deep and detailed analysis.

You need to click on each note to figure out what kind of note it is.
There is an other possibility to get an overview what kind of notes are stored on
the escrow.
Therefore extend “SystemOverview” that you can find below “FW_CASH_IN_END”.
The application sends this command to JDD and JDD to the firmware.
Under “NoteDistribution” you see how many notes removed from the Escrow and
how many notes received which destination.
In this example 107 notes removed the Escrow and 107 received cassette 2.
Of course you can extend these entries as well to get more details about each note.

Cash out (standard)
A “cash out” is command of the application and is shown with that symbol .
The NoteDistributions give you an overview what happened in regards how many
notes removed which source and how many notes received the destination.
In this case 3 notes removed the cassettes and 3 notes received the collector.
The money is in the collector and need to be transported to the output tray.
The command by the application is “PrepareOpenOutputTray”.
In this case 3 notes removed the collector and received the tray.
The shutter is open and the money is removed from the tray.
If you extend that command you can see how many notes have been removed
from the tray
After the money has been removed the shutter can be closed.

It is very helpful especially if you would like to know what exactly happened
during the jam. At first go to the transaction where a jam occurred.

information opens a table with detailled informationen an. A doubleclick at a line in this table opens this
transaction in the inspection view.
These statistic informationens are available for Refuse (refuse rate during cash-in), Recycle (recycling quotes) and Reject (during

In Statistics -> Cash Flow you can have a quick look about the movement of the banknotes.
Full, faulty or missing cassettes are colored highlighted in this view.
A double-click at any line will open this transaction in the Inspection -> Explorer view.

Statistics
Statistics -> SensorCurrent Table shows the condition of the photosensors.
Dirty photosensors are colored highlighted in this view.
The table can be sorted by any column. Sorting by Dirtlevel gives a quick overview about any dirty sensor.

1.) Installation of the Flight Recorder
If you install the Flight Recorder on the Windows 7 system in C:\Program Files (x86)
you have not the rights to update/change the Flightrecorder.ini file.
-> solution: install FR in a different folder.
recovered Jam contains a jam but firmware result is true (action successful)
