Recommendation Resolved to recommend that the approval to the present proposal of DST
of the BoS Inspire Ph.D. Fellowship awarded may be considered directly for Ph.D.
registration at the Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology without
appearing PET Examination as per Annexure Micro-2.
Recommendation Resolved that the present proposal for giving exemption for PET
of the Faculty Examination for DST Inspire Ph.D. Fellowship for direct registration for
Ph.D. Programme at the Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology is
WITHDRAWN.

F.P.10 Consideration of the proposal for restructuring of the Bachelor of

Computer Application (BCA) Programme with effect from academic-
year 2019-20. (Appendix-K)

Recommendation The committee of following members is constituted to review the proposal

of the Faculty of restructure the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Programme with
effect from academic-year 2019-20:

Further, the chairman of the Faculty is authorized to submit the report of
above committee directly to the Syndicate for consideration.

Further, it is recommended that the procedure for forming Board of Studies

in Computer application be initiated.

F.P.12 Consideration of the restructuring of syllabus recommended by

various Boards of Studies under Faculty of Science as per CBCS for
Graduate Degree Programme. (Appendix-M)

Recommendation Resolved that the following proposals for implementation of the new CBCS
of the Faculty structure for BSC Programme with effect from academic-year 2019-20
progressively;
1. Restructuring of the ongoing Graduate Degree BSC Programme as per
the syllabus submitted for BSC-I [i.e. FSBSC-I and SSBSC-I] as per
Annexure-M under CBCS.
2. Core Subjects at the BSC-II [FSBSC-II and SSBSC-II] shall be
allocated on the basis of the merit of the CGPA of BSC-I [taking
FSBSC-I and SSBSC-I together.]
