Installation of Spot Pillar

The document outlines the process for installing a spud pillar on the Neremi II Barge over 1 week at the Bennero Jetty. It will involve procuring materials, fabricating the spud pillar components, loading it onto the barge, positioning the barge, installing and securing the pillar, integrating it, testing it, cleaning up, documenting the project, and closing it out. The spud pillar will provide additional stability for barge operations.

PROJECT OVERVIEW.

PROJECT NAME:

Installation of Spud Pillar on "Neremi II Barge"

PROJECT LOCATION:
Bennero Jetty

PROJECT EXTIMATED DURATION:

1 - Week
OBJECTIVE

The objective of this construction work plan is to outline the steps and procedures
for the installation of a stud pillar on the "Neremi II Barge." The spud pillar will
provide additional support and stability for various operations on the barge.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE:

Job Scope:

The job scope of spud pillar fabrication and installation in Neremi II involves the
construction, assembly, and installation of the pillars and support structures within
the barge. These pillars provide stability and structural support to the barge.

Here's a general outline of the job scope:

1. Reviewing specifications:

We will start by reviewing the specifications, blueprints, or engineering drawings

provided for the spud pillar fabrication and installation project. This includes
understanding the required dimensions, materials, load-bearing capacities, and
any specific requirements for the barge.

2. Procurement and Mobilization

i) Procure required materials, equipment, and tools for construction and
installation.
ii) Arrange for the transportation of materials and equipment to the jetty.
iii) Mobilize necessary personnel, including welders and fitters.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE:

Material preparation

The next step is to gather the necessary materials, which include:

i) Steel beams, plates, rollers, shaft, brackets and other structural
components.
ii) Consumables like oxygen, propane, electrodes etc.
iii) PPEs: Hand gloves and goggles etc.
iv) Cut, shape, or bend the materials to the required specifications.

Spud Pillar Construction

Fabrication of spud pillar components according to design specifications. This

include:

i) Cutting of the 18” pipe (spud) to size

ii) Cutting of the 16” pipes (pillar) to size
iii) Cutting of the 10” pipe (post) to size
iv) Installation of the rollers on the post
v) And assembly of the above components.
vi) Conduct quality inspections at various stages of construction.

Loadout and Transportation

a) Prepare the spud pillar for transportation onto the barge.

b) Coordinate with lifting and transportation teams for safe loading and
securing.
c) Transfer the spud pillar to the barge using a crane.
Barge Setup and Positioning

i) Position the barge in the desired location for spud pillar installation.
ii) Deploy anchors or mooring systems to secure the barge.
iii) Ensure the barge is leveled and stabilized for construction and installation.

Spud Pillar Installation

a) Conduct pre-installation checks and inspections of the spud pillar and

barge setup.
b) Lift and position the spud pillar onto the designated location on the barge.
c) Secure the spud pillar to the barge using appropriate fastening and
reinforcement methods.
d) Perform post-installation inspections to verify the stability and alignment
of the spud pillar.

Integration and Testing

e) Connect the spud pillar to the existing hydraulic winch systems.

f) Integrate the spud pillar with the barge's control and monitoring systems,
if required.
g) Conduct functional and load testing to ensure the spud pillar's
performance.
h) Address any issues or adjustments identified during testing.
POST-CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Site Cleanup

i) Remove any construction debris and waste materials from the barge.
ii) Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
iii) Restore the site to its pre-construction condition.

Documentation

i) Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for the spud pillar

installation.
ii) Compile a comprehensive project report, including any deviations or
issues encountered
iii) Complete any required closeout documentation, permits, and approvals.

Project Closeout

i) Conduct a final inspection to ensure all work meets quality standards.

ii) Obtain any necessary sign-offs and approvals.
iii) Demobilize equipment and personnel from the barge.
iv) Conduct a project review to identify lessons learned and areas for
improvement.
