2. A sample of 100 students was taken, and these students were asked about the amount of
money they possess. The following table gives the frequency distribution of their responses.

a) Find the value of K and class midpoints.


b) Do all the classes have the same width? If so, what is the width?
c) Prepare the relative frequency and percentage distribution columns.
d) Prepare a cumulative frequency distribution. Calculate the cumulative relative frequencies
and cumulative percentages for all classes.
e) Find the percentage of the students who possess money -
i. Minimum 500
ii. Maximum 499
f) Represent the data set in a suitable graph with appropriate information (like title, axis, label
etc.) and comments on the graph.

3. You are given the following table where the number of stocks falling in the particular price
categories in the Chicago Stock Exchange (CSE): [5.0]

Here, X & Y are the last two digits of your student ID (i.e., 19100012, 20123478, etc.). [If your

the following:
a) Find the Range of stock prices ($) and complete the frequency distribution table.
b) Find:
i. Mean
ii. Median

4. The following data shows the lowest price of Stylish Shoe Ltd. traded during the last 22 trading
days of the last one month: [6.0]

5. You are given the following data pertaining to kilowatt hours of electricity consumed by
some users in the city of Dhaka: [6.0]
