Quantum Computing

Quantum computing harnesses the strange properties of quantum mechanics to perform calculations that are impossible for traditional computers using quantum bits that can exist in multiple states simultaneously. It has the potential to revolutionize fields like materials science, drug discovery, and artificial intelligence through massively parallel processing and simulation capabilities not possible with classical computers. While still in early stages, quantum computing shows promise for specialized tasks like cryptography, optimization, and simulation of quantum systems that could transform those domains.

QUANTUM COMPUTING

DEFINITION
QUANTUM COMPUTING IS A TYPE OF COMPUTING THAT HARNESSES THE STRANGENESS OF THE
QUANTUM WORLD TO PERFORM CALCULATIONS THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE FOR TRADITIONAL
COMPUTERS. IT'S LIKE USING THE WEIRD RULES OF QUANTUM MECHANICS TO BUILD A SUPER
POWERED COMPUTER
Superposition
is the ability of a
quantum system
to be in multiple
states at the

is measured.
Entanglement
describes the relationship
that exists between two or
more particles that
interact in a way that
makes it impossible to
describe each particle
independently.
