AIIMS NORCET Syllabus

2024
Candidates must review the AIIMS NORCET
Syllabus 2024, which is categorized into two
stages: NORCET Prelims and NORCET Mains.
NORCET Prelim exam will be held on 14th April
2024 serving as a qualifying round. On the
other hand, the NORCET Mains exam will be
considered for merit purposes.

The NORCET 6 syllabus will be in accordance

with the education qualification and
experience mentioned in the AIIMS Nursing
Officer eligibility covering general studies,
aptitude, and Nursing subjects.

AIIMS NORCET Syllabus

2024 Subject Wise
AIIMS NORCET Syllabus 2024 will cover
subjects of the General Awareness & Aptitude
Test, and Nursing courses. According to the
official notification, the prelim stage will have
20 MCQs of General Awareness & Aptitude
and 80 MCQs of Nursing subjects of
qualification level. AIIMS NORCET Syllabus
2024 for the stage 2 exam will exclusively focus
on the entire syllabus of Nursing courses.

AIIMS NORCET Exam

Pattern 2024
According to the latest exam pattern, the
AIIMS NORCET 2024 will be conducted in CBT
mode. There will be two stages of the AIIMS
Nursing Officer exam named the Prelim and
Mains Stages. AIIMS Nursing Officer NORCET
exam pattern includes subjects like General
Awareness & Aptitude Test and Nursing
Subject-Related Questions.

Exam Pattern 2024 for both stages:

AIIMS NORCET Prelim Exam

Pattern 2024
The first paper in the NORCET 6 exam
will be the AIIMS NORCET Prelim paper.
AIIMS NORCET Nursing Officer Prelim
Question Paper is qualifying in nature.
Students will have 90 minutes to solve
100 questions in the AIIMS NORCET
Prelim exam.
The AIIMS NORCET question paper will
be divided into Nursing and Non-
Nursing Subjects.
Out of 100 questions, 80 MCQs will be
from the nursing field and 20 will be
from non nursing field.
The AIIMS NORCET question paper will
be divided into 5 sections.
Each section will have 20 questions to
be solved in 18 minutes.

AIIMS NORCET Main Exam

Pattern 2024
Candidates 5 times the total seats will
be declared qualified preliminary stage
for the AIIMS NORCET main exam.
In AIIMS NORCET Main stage there will
be 100 multiple choice questions to be
solved in 90 minutes.
There will be a negative marking of
one-third mark for each wrong answer.
In this stage also, there will be a total of
5 sections of 18 minutes each
containing nursing subject-based
questions.
In NORCET 6 Main exam case scenario-
based questions will be asked to test
nursing skills competency.
Successful candidates who clear the
main stage will be allotted AIIMS based
on their rank in the merit list and
preference.
