Unfortunately, the most important site is the one where it is not working. I having trouble finding
that so I might as well as you, cause I like this one the best! Thanks. When there, expand the Feature
Box area on the far right column and choose where you’d like to display the box. I notice that the
footer attributions at the very bottom of the footer are all in one long horizonatal line in firefox, but
are several lines in IE7. (actually, it appears the attribution area in IE is confined to the last column in
the footer instead of spanning all the way across the bottom of the footer. If you continue to use this
site we will assume that you are happy with it. That is how you will remove items from your home
page template. There was a code I have used successfully in the past, but now it gives parse errors
and the author refuses to answer questions. That is how you will remove items from your home page
template. I’d have to “upgrade” my plan ColdFusion 8 for this to work. Each hall, gallery, studio and
even corridor is adorned with student’s thesis project and leaves the onlooker awe-struck for each
work encompasses in it a mythical world that somehow remains palpable in nature. Kinda like a
dotted line border. 2)Replicate the dotted line effect for the tags and blogroll? 3)Display only the 50
most-used tags at any point of time and keeping all of them of the same size. Feel free to copy it into
Pastebin and send me the link if you’d like me to try to find the error. In this post we'll start
customising the page layout using the geometry and fancyhdr packages. Since other solutions with
more and better built-in features are becoming more popular these days, I'm not sure if I'll have many
more jobs for WordPress as time goes on. The worst errors are at the end where the numbers are at
the starts of the lines. What is it that I need to delete in order to do that. On the other two the
“default widget” box still shows up, except that the message now says “This is Sidebar 0” instead of
“This is Sidebar 3”. Try changing the font size at the widget level, or in the design options. You will
hold down the key, click and drag the box to this grey box. I would have to see it in action to know
what is going on. Somewhere on the net I think I once say a list of function php code like the
following that you used: Do you know of such a list. We can also change the margin sizes at the top
and bottom of the page. I am not well-versed in php, but grateful Thesis — and its wonderful
community — allow me to muddle through. But was going to try to get the color to work at least
first. It allows me to add widgets from the dashboard just fine, but I have no idea what hook or filter
will allow me to add custom php into the widgets. You don't need to load color because xcolor loads
color. Anyway, new question, the custom.css changes I made to put a background color in the footer
area doesnt seem to be doing anything. As you can see I got the nav bar all the way across but not
the footer. In this example we will learn how to do just that. Covering Post Images is beyond the
scope of this article, but there are many great resources explaining how to use Thesis Post Images
both on DIYthemes.com and elsewhere on the web.
To do this we add the keyword twoside into the document class command. As you can see on my
site, the png looks choppy and it hides behind the footer. When the image is centered it should
always be in the right spot. Also if you know how do I align left the “about Me” and the titles on that
same line. Thanks so much for any assistance that you can provide. Next we'll change the width of
the text by entering the keyword width followed by an equals sign and a number in millimetres.
Yeah, “colour” doesn’t work in CSS, even in Australia. I just checked on my host’s support page and
it turns out my server had power supply issues. My next issue is the nav menu not extending full
width. What’s the best way to get the text to match the other widgets. I managed to do that by
choosing the no sidebar option when creating a page in wordpress. Thank you for taking the time
answering my questions. Can I stack two smaller widgets in the same column. I was looking all over
to find out how to adjust the footer of Thesis. You will hold down the key, click and drag the box to
this grey box. I’d like to do something similar, but don’t really understand enough php to second
guess what you’ve done. Just looking to tie up a few more things before we go live. I tried using the
Widget Context plugin- but of course, I still get a widget on all of my additional pages (it is just the
default widget). Each year, students’ work offer a culture of integration and diversity as NCA is
home to students with myriad socio-economic backgrounds, ethnic identities, ideological positions
and cultural ideologies. Their work provide a thought provoking insight into our personal as well as
common concerns, like matter of cultural identity, reflection on surrounding, changes due to new
mode of communication, physical imperfections, personal family histories, man and machine
relationship etc. Glad the Footer area is showing, to have a look at using the widgets panel try this
WordPress 2.8 video. Widgets are at 1:15min. We put the aforementioned code in our lte IE7
stylesheet, and everything seems OK, so far. The code you’ve provided is excellent, but I’m wanting
to put it all together to have a dedicated footer widget area like you do. If they are text widgets you
might have to copy out the contents first into a plain text file and then copy it back in. The closest
things are in the Thesis “user manual” where there is a hook list and a filter hook list, but stuff that is
built in to thesis I don’t think so. The fancyhdr package lets us add things in the left (L), right (R)
and centre (C) of the header or footer and also lets us specify a different arrangement depending on
whether its on an odd (O) or even (E) page. It was very easy to follow and has allowed me to make a
few changes that I wanted to. What is it that I need to delete in order to do that. If you have further
questions about it or want me to write a more detailed post on it, let me know. This mean that the
three columns of white space you get with a double page spread will be a similar size.
Check footer.php in the Thesis theme folder and if it’s not that try disabling plugins. However, I'm
going to show you how you can customise it using two commands provided by the fancyhdr package:
\fancyhead and \fancyfoot. I've only duplicated the plain page style and added your required header.
Or there’s some other server issues that can cause a problem, but they don’t happen very often;
there’s a thread in the forum about how to check those out. This would result in a widgetised footer
inside your page (not full-width). It was very easy to follow and has allowed me to make a few
changes that I wanted to. An example is the Recent Snippets widget in my footer: it has a unique ID
of “rss-2”. The problem i’m having is that im not sure how to get the content box to stretch down
with it. (reference picture below). Or if you’ve used the CSS in the post, after the line. And,
fortunately, the code for adding it to the Feature Box is as simple as could possibly be. So it says “if
not PAGE NAME or OTHER PAGE NAME do this footer widgets code”. Overleaf on Twitter

improve your experience on our site. That, however, is less pressing than the question above, if I’m
limited to one question. This mean that the three columns of white space you get with a double page
spread will be a similar size. That might be why the background isn’t showing, and maybe why it’s
not centred. You can’t do it with the tags unless you make each tag go on a new line. However, I am
so brand new to this that I am just not quite sure where and how to place it. Either way will separate
the contents of the footer from the content area. When you install Thesis 2.0, by default it has a link
to WP Admin and to the Thesis homepage. The footer looks great by the way — thanks so much.
When you install Thesis 2.0, by default it has a link to WP Admin and to the Thesis homepage. That
stinks! Any known workarounds or suggestions? Thanks. Next we'll change the width of the text by
entering the keyword width followed by an equals sign and a number in millimetres. I probably
didn’t explain a lot in this post because I wrote it just when hooks first came into Thesis and almost
everyone had read Sugarrae’s post and the general vibe of the community didn’t seem to need it as
much. You don’t have any more tutorials up your sleeves, do you. I created a png file that I thought
would work, and put it with a repeat-x. Feel free to ask a follow up when you’ve taken a look at
that: essentially you need to use conditional code to output different things on different pages. I
notice that the footer attributions at the very bottom of the footer are all in one long horizonatal line
in firefox, but are several lines in IE7. (actually, it appears the attribution area in IE is confined to the
last column in the footer instead of spanning all the way across the bottom of the footer. You need to
use the option dvipsnames to use the color MidnightBlue. I would like to know how to place a black
box on the top margin of the first page and write some huge text inside it in white color.
