The National Education Policy, 2020 envisions the establishment of the Academic Bank of
Credits (ABC), a national-level facility that will be a bank for academic purpose with students as
academic account holders. ABC shall provide a variety of services which include credit
accumulation, credit verification, credit redemption, credit exchange and authentication of academic
awards from one programme to another giving them the opportunity for Multiple Entry - Multiple
Exit. The University Grants Commission (UGC) also requests for the dissemination of information
about ABC and to on- board all Universities in the State.
In this connection, to upload the student results/academic data to ABC / NAD portal the
registration with ABC portal (ABC Id) is mandatory for every student. All the principals of the
affiliated colleges make sure that every student is registered with ABC portal (www.abc.gov.in) and
send the data in the following format to [email protected] on or before 04-03-2024.
