human beings in ensuring these rights. It also allowed us to examine the moral status of animals and identify how
they are to be treated.

and welfare such as animal testing and carnism. You are to use your annotations to formulate your claims and
arguments. Your teacher will be assisting you for the conduct of this simulated debate.
