    1. PROJECT SUMMARY (14 POINTS):

    Project subject and purpose: The subject and purpose of the project should be
    expressed in a clear language. (6 Points)

    Project scope and method: The project method and project scope should be
    expressed in a clear language, associated with the competition category, and the
    project has the possibility of creating other projects/studies. (8 Points)

    2. PROBLEM / NEED FOR SOLUTION (16 POINTS):

    Problem description and available solutions: Sufficient information should be


    given about the problem situation and existing solutions and official sources should
    be cited. (8 Points)

    Solution idea: A solution idea suitable for the purpose should be developed, its
    strengths and different aspects from existing solutions should be expressed. (8
    Points)

    3. INDIGENOUSNESS AND ORIGINALITY SIDE (8

    POINTS):

    Originality and Locality: The solution idea or method should be different from the
    existing solutions, appropriate to the problem situation and applicable in the market.
    It is important to include domestic products in the project. (8 Points)

    4. METHOD AND TARGET GROUP (24 POINTS):

    Efficiency and effectiveness: The efficient and effective aspects of the developed
    solution should be mentioned and sufficient information should be given on the
    relevant subject. (8 Points)

    Method to be followed: The method/experiment to be followed, the analyzes to be


    used and the materials to be used should be expressed in a clear language. (8
    Points)

    Target audience: The target audience should be expressed in a clear language and
    compatible with the project being developed. (8 Points)

    5. INNOVATION AND COMMERCIALIZATION POTENTIAL

    (14 POINTS):

    Technology and innovation: The advanced technological innovation contained in


    the product should be included. (6 Points)

    Commercialization potential: The commercialization potential of the product


    should be included, advanced technology and added value should be included. The
    solution obtained in the project should be applicable and produced under existing
    conditions. It should be shown that the project has the potential to create new
    projects, business partnerships and collaborations. (8 Points)

    6. PROJECT SCHEDULE (6 POINTS):

    Work packages and timing: Within the scope of the project, work packages should
    be detailed, clearly determined and realistic with their sub-activities. A visually
    understandable and organized diagram / table should be used. (6 Points)

    7. TEAM STRUCTURE (6 POINTS):

    Team Structure: It should be visually shown that there is a team suitable for the task
    requirements, and there should be members in different disciplines who meet the
    planning needs. (6 Points)

    8. PROJECT REPORT LAYOUT (12 POINTS):

    Report writing rules: In the writing of the report, attention should be paid to the
    page limits, academic spelling rules, bibliography and table of contents. (6 Points)

    The headings that should be included in the report are as follows:

    In the bibliography title, detailed information should be given about all the sources
    you use to make your project. (Website address, Book Title, Page Number, etc.)"

    Clarity and appropriateness: The figures/tables/diagrams used in the report should


    be understandable and prepared in accordance with the rules. (6 Points)

    NOTE ON REPORT TEMPLATES:

    (This page will not be included in the reports.)

     The Pre-Evaluation Report will be a maximum of 6 pages, including the


    Cover, Table of Contents, Bibliography and Appendices (if any) pages.
     All reports should be written in accordance with academic report
    standards.
     Each report should contain 3 separate pages for "Cover, Table of
    Contents and Bibliography" headings.
     Font: Arial, Font size: 12, Title font: Arial Black, Title Font: 14, Line
    Spacing: 1.15, Justified, Page margins: top-bottom-right-left should be 2.5.
     The sentences in the report should not be identical and repetitive.
     There is no project introduction video at this stage.
     In their report, teams that have benefited from the previous year's reports
    on our website or the old reports of their own team should indicate that
    they have cited on the relevant page. You need to specify the explanation
    after the quoted sentence.
    CITATION FORMAT: "Sentence/s Cited" (Year, Contest Name, Category,
    Team Name)
    SAMPLE QUOTE: "The inability to determine the whereabouts of the
    earthquake victim in the debris is the most important problem that slows down
    the debris removal and earthquake-victim search efforts." (2020, Technology for
    the Benefit of Humanity Competition, Disaster Management, Team X)
     References in the bibliography can be stated as follows.
    Digital Source: Authors' surname, initials of their names, title of the article,
    date of the article, access date, access address.
    Printed Source: Authors' Surname, Initial Letter of Their Names., (Publication
    Date) Title of the Article, Name of the Journal in which it was Published (if any),
    Number of the Journal (if any), Page number.
     Pre-Evaluation Reports that do not comply with the report template will not be
    evaluated.
