01. Description of
construction

Each PSD file contains layers divided into 3 main groups:

- FILTERS (violet color)


- ITEMS (yelow color)
- VIEWS (orange color)

„ITEMS” folder contains all editable Smart Objects. All objects are linked whit
appropriate objects in VIEW_00 folder. This means that all you have to do is put your graphics
inside objects in the ITEMS folder.
„VIEWS” folder contains main mock-up layers, smart objects and effects.
„FILTERS” folder contains 4 photograpic folders, cold, warm, retro, dirty.

IMPORTANT:

The help file is designed to describe the general operation of mock. All products sold with this
help file work on the same way. Therefore, the sample layer names in the presented screenshots
may be differ from the names in the PSD file.

02. Required dimensions


01. BUCKET_graphic 2600 x 2000 px

BACKGROUND 5000 x 5000 px

NOTE:

All objects whit "varnish" postscript have the same dimensions as their counterparts above. If the folder with the
number presentation containing several objects of the same name, place the graphics in each of them.

Mock-up uses a puppet warping. Therefore, smart objects responsible for the graphics can not be saves as
blank (Usually my layers have a 1px dot in the bottom corner). Otherwise, this will cause error and objects get
lost path. In this case, go back in history and re-open the smart object.

03. Placing graphics in the


Mock: Main graphics
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the yellow ITEMS folder. From the list of layers choose and double-click the icon of
selected smart object

03. Paste your project in the new opened window


04. Save and close the window

NOTE:

- your project will automatically adjust to the overall shape and perspective of the image
- mock-up uses a puppet warping. Therefore, smart objects responsible for the graphics can not be
saves as blank (Usually my layers have a 1px dot in the bottom corner). Otherwise, this will cause
error and objects get lost path. In this case, go back in history and re-open the smart object.

04. Placing projects in the


Mock: Selective varnish
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the yellow ITEMS folder

03. Expand the red SELECTIVE VARNISH folder inside. From the list of layers choose and
double-click the icon of selected smart object in accordance with the number of VIEW

04. Paste your project in the new opened window


05. Save and close the window

NOTE:

- your project will automatically adjust to the overall shape and perspective of the image
- your project will automatically turn into a varnish in the default color of silver

Mock: Background
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the yellow ITEMS folder. From the list of layers choose and double-click the icon of
BACKGROUND smart object

03. Paste your project in the new opened window


04. Save and close the window

NOTE:
- your project will automatically adjust to the overall shape and perspective of the image

CHOISE OF PERSPECTIVE ( Option available for selected mock-ups )

01. Expand the selected VIEW folder and expand the BACKGROUND folder. Mark the „background
perspective1/2” folder and turn ON using the „eye” button.

02. Tunr OFF the unused background folder above

06. Selective varnish :


Change the color
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Add a project in accordance with point 04
03. Expand the orange VIEW / (item : for example BOX) /SELECTIVE VARNISH folder.
04. Turn ON the Hue/Saturation blue effect by clicking in empty square on left side

05. Duble-click in Hue/Saturation icon

06. Move the Hue slider to change the color

07. Selective varnish:


Change the quantity of reflections
01. Proceed as in section 06 / 01-03
02. Duble-click in GRADIENT icon

03. Click the gradient bar

04. In the new opened window drag and move the sliders to change the gradient

05. Close the window by clicking on the OK buttons

08. Selective varnish:


Change the direction of reflections
01. Proceed as in section 06 / 01-03
02. Proceed as in section 07 / 04
03. Click, hold and move angle knob or change the number on the side

04. Close the window by clicking on the OK buttons

09. Change in the intensity of


lights: Method A
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the orange PRESENTATION folder

03. Expand the selected VIEW / (item : for example BOX) folder and find a blue LIGHT_editable/global layer.
04. Mark the layer and go to opacity option above

05. Move the slider to reduce the intensity of the selected reflection

NOTE:
- you can use the same method for layer purple shadow layers

09. Change in the intensity of


lights: Method B
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the orange PRESENTATION folder
03. Expand the selected VIEW / (item : for example BOX) folder and find a blue LIGHT_editable/global layer
04. Click twice and go inside the smat object
05. In the new opened window click twice at the „black & white” icon at the left name of layer (usually name:
LIGHT or LEVELS)

06. In the new opened window move the left dark slider to to bring more light details

07. Close and save the settings in this window

NOTE:
- if you believe that the new settings are too intense, you can use Method A to reduce the whole effect
- you can use the same method for layer purple shadow layers : in 06 point move right white slider

10. Edition composition:


Selection of items
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the orange PRESENTATION/VIEW folder

03. Turn ON the selected item using the „eye” icon on the right
04. Turn OFF the remaining elements above and below

05. Turn off the Background folder if you want to have a transparent background

11. Edition composition:


Moving and scaling objects
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Expand the orange PRESENTATION/VIEW folder
03. Mark the selected item by clicking on the folder

04. Enable editing mode using CTRL + T

05. Scale item while holding "shift" button


06. To move item, click and hold the button in the center of the rectangle

07. Save changes using the button in the top menu

12. Managing sticker effect:


Turn on and off
01. Open the chosen PSD file
02. Place your project accordance with 03 point
03. Expand the orange PRESENTATION/VIEW/ITEM (”box” for example) folder and find copies of the smart
object which you used to place the project

TIP : To be sure you have found the right layer disable and enable it by using the "eye" icon to the left of the
name

04. Click at the „fx” icon to develop the effect


05. Click on the „eye” icon to turn off the effect

NOTE:
- You can manage the effect by double-clicking on "Bevel and emboss" effect name
