JOB VACANCY

RETAIL ASSISTANTS FULL AND PART TIME)


FULL TIME 8.30 TO 6PM
(PART TIME EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS).
Reports to: Operations Manager
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Assist with the sales process by maintaining a fully stocked store an keeping the work
environment clean.
• Compiling reports from statistical and financial data sources.
• Working as part of a team.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports, using computer
system.
• Tracking and storing monthly systems productions reports.
• Stock taking and preparation of stock reports.
• Cash handling.
• Assist customers to identify and purchase products they desire.
• Sales of company products, restocking and merchandising as well as providing a
high-class customer service to customers through sales service.
• Ascertain customer needs and wants.
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
• Welcome and greet customers.
• Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Would suit students seeking to earn money to fund their studies,
• Hours of work are between 6pm and 11pm Mondays to Thursdays and 6pm
to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays 12pm to 10pm.

Requirements and Skills

Applicants must possess a diploma in business, or marketing, logistics or stores management


from a recognised University or institution of Higher Learning, or WASCE with at least 5
credits.

• Proven working experience in retail sales.


• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in English and Creole.
• Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service focus.
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
• Basic administration skills.
• A good timekeeper.
• Good computer skills.
