    Event Management Ideation

    Theme: Social Media

    We are planning to make an Instagram account for the farewell. This account will be kept
    private and only the graduating eco-hons seniors and organisers would be a part of it. All the
    updates can be given on the account itself in the form of interesting posts, reels, videos etc.
    To the days leading up to the farewell we can put messages from their teachers and juniors
    and other random videos of performances and other memories.

    We will provide options for certain social media/entertainment apps. The third years will have
    to dress up as any one of those options (Eg; if they pick YouTube they must dress in red and
    white coloured clothes or if they pick Whatsapp it needs to be green and white). The
    attendees must improvise with accessories or makeup and try to be as innovative as
    possible.

    This is a tentative list of apps that we have decided:

    ● Whatsapp
    ● Facebook
    ● Instagram
    ● Twitter
    ● Snapchat
    ● YouTube
    ● Tumblr
    ● Reddit
    ● Netflix
    ● Spotify

    Game ideas:

    ● A round of Would-You-Rather, which will be social-media themed as well. A


    random person will be called and given two options (Eg,: post an embarrassing reel
    on Instagram or put a stupid Tinder bio). The person will have to pick and do either of
    those.
    ● Baby Photos Battle: In this game our third years will send us their baby pictures and
    the pictures will be shown to all others with quirky captions and they will have to
    guess whose baby picture it is in the comments . We can also have a jury or a public
    voting where people can vote for titles of the most funny pic, favourite pic or cutest
    pic etc.
    ● Award Ceremony: The basis for this competition will be the app-themed outfits of
    the third years. There will be a jury set up to decide the winner. All members will have
    to present a modelling bit with their partner (everyone must have a partner, for which
    there is no gender restriction). The two people’s screens will be pinned during their
    bit, for everyone to see. Based on the outfits and/or makeup and look, the jury will
    shortlist a few pairs. This will lead to a second round where every pair must speak a
    few lines related to the app they are dressed as. Based on how funny and catchy it
    is, the jury will eliminate till there is a winner. For the elimination process there will be
    a catch. The theme for this will be based on the dating app, Tinder. The jury will say
    whether they left swipe or right swipe on the participants.
