ABSTRACT
This project introduces an Event Management System (EMS) designed to enhance the
organization and coordination of events through a relational database structure. The system
comprises entities such as Events, Organizers, Attendees, and Venues, establishing
connections to facilitate efficient management.
The system embraces a many-to-many relationship between Attendees and Events,
acknowledging the dynamic nature of participant engagement. Attendees can participate in
multiple events, and events can host diverse attendees, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
In essence, the Event Management System serves as a comprehensive platform, offering
event planners and organizers an efficient tool for seamless planning, execution, and analysis
of events, fostering a streamlined and collaborative approach to event management.
1. INTRODUCTION
The realm of event management has evolved with the advent of technology, demanding
sophisticated solutions to streamline the complex orchestration of diverse events. This project
introduces an Event Management System (EMS) designed to address these challenges
through the lens of a relational database. As events grow in scale and intricacy, the need for
efficient coordination, communication, and attendee management becomes paramount.
The EMS presented herein is an integrated platform, where Events, Organizers, Attendees,
and Venues are intricately interconnected, forming a robust structure to manage the entire
event lifecycle. In a world where meticulous planning and seamless execution are essential,
the EMS serves as a pivotal tool for event planners, organizers, and participants.
