Criterion offers a broad range of zeolite catalysts and pretreatment catalysts for hydrocracking. They work closely with refineries to select the optimal catalysts to meet their specific needs through detailed analysis of feedstock quality and desired product slate. Criterion also provides extensive technical support to help customers optimize catalyst performance, understand process anomalies, and increase profit margins through their Cat-Check knowledge management system. Their leading pretreatment catalysts have significantly higher hydrodenitrogenation and hydrodesulphurization activity than earlier generations of catalysts, enabling refineries to process more difficult feeds.

the preferred choice in high-severity units running feeds with elevated
nitrogen levels or high percentages of cracked or high-end-point
stocks. The catalyst has class-leading performance and remarkable
retention of activity. Refiners can exploit this last point in different
ways to suit their individual operational objectives: to extend cycle
lengths; to reduce the nitrogen slip to the cracking catalyst; to process
tougher feeds; or, as less reactor volume is taken up by a more active
and stable catalyst, to include additional catalysts in the pretreatment
section with extra functionality.
