I am submitting, my internship report, which is one of the requirements of our department
for the completion of our degree.
My report is grounded on my time working for an IT Service Industry. The name of my
organization is Walton Digi-Tech Industries LTD. I have included my daily work routine,
the structure of the organization, and my workflow.

In any organization, employee is more important for the success of a business. For the long-term
success of the business, the company utilizes human resource efficiently and manage talent
effectively. This report focuses on the effectiveness of implementing Human Resource analytics.
Overview:
In achieving organizational goals, Walton Digi-tech Industries Limited recognizes the strategic
importance of Human Resources. The company’s commitment to data-driven decision-making
and optimizing workforce performance is a key component in implementing HR analytics.
Types of Analytics
Descriptive Analytics- Learn past and current business performance and make informed decision
Predictive Analytics- Analyze past performance and predict the future by examining historical
data
Prescriptive Analytics- Help decision makers to identify the optimal alternative in problems
Objectives of HR analytics
Workforce Planning-Assess current and future workforce needs to align with business objectives.
Conclusion
To adapt to dynamic workforce challenges and support sustainable growth, the company can
focus on data-driven decision-making.

Walton is the pioneer and the most popular, trusted, and prestigious Bangladeshi Tech-Giant,
Electrical, Electronics, Home, Kitchen, and Electrical Appliances Brand with the largest and
most sophisticated R and I facilities. It has a well-equipped manufacturing plant which is treated
as one of the best manufacturing plants in Bangladesh even in South Asia.
Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited started its journey in 2018 manufacturing Desktop
Computers, Laptops, Mobile Phones, Networking Devices, Monitors, Projectors, Motherboards,
Data Storage, Devices, Peripherals, Wearables, Workstations, Tablet PCs and just to name a
few.

1.1.3. Details of the Product lines or services
Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. is a sister concern of Walton Group, which is based on IT
service and IT consulting. This industry specializes in computer manufacturing, laptop
manufacturing, IT accessories manufacturing, and software development.

Walton has gained a milestone as the highest-exporting Bangladeshi enterprise in the field of
electronics. The operations of Walton are at full swing in the markets of Nepal, India, Myanmar,
Maldives, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Nigeria, and West Africa.
Walton Digi-tech Industries Limited is a sister concern of Walton Group. Walton has a
workforce of more than 20000+ in total 22 production bases under 680+ acres of factory area.
The capacity of yearly production is 10 million units based on the market demands.

In this year, Walton Digi-tech Industries has achieved another success by exporting 10,000
pieces of “Made in Bangladesh” tagged PCB manufactured in its production plant to a renewed
company in the European country of Greece.

Training Team:
Scheduling training and orientation for each department of the corporate office and
factory, Creating Zoom Links, Attendance Links and Questions in Google Forms for online
training. Exams are taken especially for the Sales Consultants. No examination is taken for other
departments.
On the other hand, In-person training is taken for the employees of corporate offices and
factories.
Apart from these sections, some departments or higher officials might suggest training on certain
subjects. According to their requirements, we prepare the training model.

making, setting goals, and developing strategies, but the discussion can be more impactful if the
data of individual teamwork can be presented visually. It is quite time-consuming, huge data sets
are difficult to compare and there is a huge possibility of missing any information.
However, HR analytics using Power BI and Excel can help make decisions easier for the
department. As the organization is growing, the number of datasets is becoming larger, for this
reason, more analytical tools need to be introduced.

The above HR analytics Dashboard gives a quick review of the employee number, attrition
(employee left), active employees, monthly income, and educational field. Employee
Performance can be evaluated by comparing the active employees with the overall employees.
Thus, inactive employees are found, and HR can develop some strategies accordingly.
From this dashboard we can learn about the number of employees working from age 25 to 55,
and most importantly which gender of people are more. It is the responsibility of the HR
department to know the level of job satisfaction of the employees from different departments.
The dashboard can be presented as a monthly report and based on this dashboard the
organization can make decisions. This HR analytics is an evidence-based approach for
developing individual and organizational performance.

The training and development team is responsible for providing training and recording the
attendance of the trainee. In Walton Digi-tech Industries Ltd. 97 sales consultants are working
overall in 12 divisions of Bangladesh, and their training is held online through Zoom. To take
their attendance google form is created, by filling out this form they give their attendance. To
evaluate their attendance we can create a pivot table and easily compare division that is
performing well. The above pivot table shows that on 2nd October 2023, among 6 sales
consultants of the Division 6, 5 were present and 1 was absent. In this following way, we can
calculate the attendance of the other divisions and take steps accordingly.
There might be a question, of why an organization should implement HR analytics, the reasons
are given below:
• To connect workforce utilization to strategic and financial goals for developed business
performance.
• To forecast workforce requirements and identify to fill open positions.
• To determine factors that lead to greater employee satisfaction and productivity.

• To understand the reasons for employee attrition and find high-value employees at risk of
leaving.

competitive advantage HR analytics can be implemented. Human Resource analytics can help
organizations take current operational and strategic data and convert it into an active approach.

4.1 Conclusion
The objective of this report is to show how Walton Digitech Industries Limited can implement
HR analytics and benefit from it. To play a more relevant and strategic role in the organization,
the HR function needs to move beyond more reporting to accurate prediction. Apart from
generating reactive reports it needs to implement advanced analytics and predictive techniques
that support strategic organizational goals.
