SFLM OFFLINE REGISTRATION AND LICENSE FILE INSTALLATION
1. Login as root and then open a terminal window (if your Operating system is Linux or UNIX).
2. If you have installed our software in Windows, just open a DOS command prompt window.
3. Go to the \silvaco\bin directory where your software has been installed for example: c:\...\silvaco\bin
Type: showid -set-activation
4. The Machine ID, Machine Key and Machine Credential will then appear as shown below and it will also prompt you for the "Codename". (Note: Do not key in anything yet. The "Codename" and “Activation code” will be sent to you later)
5. Mouse the mouse within the DOS command prompt window. Right click on the mouse and click on “Select All” to copy the Machine ID, Machine Key and Machine Credential as shown below.
1 6. Paste these information in a NOTEPAD or Text Editor and save it as shown below.
2 7. Then, send the saved information i.e. Machine ID, Machine Key and Machine Credential to us via email as well as:
a. Your Email Address;
b. Company Name and Company Address; c. Telephone; d. Contact Name.
We will then proceed to request the Codename, Activation Code and the License file for you. This may take one or two days. Once your license file is ready, we will send you an email to notify you.
8. PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THE DOS COMMAND PROMPT AT ALL TIME.
LEAVE YOUR MACHINE ON UNTIL WE SEND YOU THE CODENAME AND ACTIVATION CODE!
9. Once you have received the Codename and Activation Code, please key in these information as shown below. The license server activation is completed.
10. To install the license file, bring up a web browser at:
http://127.0.0.1:3162
as shown below and click on “INSTALL NEW LICENSE(S)”
3 11. It will then prompt you for the “SFLM Administrator password” as shown below.
12. Key in your SFLM administrator password. Then, click on the “Login” button and below will appears.
4 13. Then, click on “Install Saved File” and below will appears:
14. Browse the license file that was emailed to you and click “Next” to install your license file. Once the license file has installed, you will see the below figure:
5 15. Finally, press the “Done” button to finish the license installation.
