MOSCOW SUSTAINABLE LIGHTING DESIGN

In Moscow, the average percentage of the sky

covered by clouds experiences significant seasonal
variation over the course of the year. The clearer
part of the year in Moscow begins around April 18
and lasts for 5.1 months, ending around September
21. The clearest month of the year in Moscow is
July, during which on average the sky is clear,
mostly clear, or partly cloudy 58% of the time
.The cloudier part of the year begins around September 21 and lasts for 6.9 months, ending around April 18. The cloudiest month of the year
in Moscow is December, during which on average the sky is overcast or mostly cloudy 76% of the time.

According to the 21st of June at 12.00 am, Altitude is 57 degree and Latitude is 55.75 56 degree in Moscow , Russian Fedn.
Max. summer sun altitude = ( 90 - 56 ) + 23.5 = 57.5 degree Min. winter sun altitude = ( 90- 56 ) - 23.5 = 10.5 degree
EH = Exterior horizontal illumination For Summer
EV = Exterior vertical illumination LA = 14.800 (1+2 s n 57 / 3) = 13.221
A = Solar altitude in degrees. ( level of lum nater )
LA = Luminance at A degree above 13.221 = LZ / 3 LZ = 39.663
horizon in any direction EH = 300 + 14.800 s n 57 lux
LZ = Luminance at zenith EH = 12.732 lux
LA = LZ (1+2 sin A / 3) EV = 12.732 / 2.5
Thus at horizon where A = 0 degree, EV = 5.093 lux
LA = LZ / 3
For Winter
EH = 300 + median sin A lux
EV = EH / 2.5 LA = 14.800 (1+2 sin 10 / 3) = 9.432

For Winter
STRATEGIES SECTIONS
1. Ground material
The floor of the room must be made of reflective material. In this
way, the sunlight coming into the room is diffused.
2 .Use highly reflective materials for the furniture
In order to increase the sunlight in the room by reflecting, the furniture in the room should
be made of reflective materials.
3 .Skylight
In the room we should use the advantages of skylights with create an openable skylight.
It is made of clear or translucent glass so we can easily provide daylight and ventilation.
