D: a battle of technique!
R: an exhibition poise and carriage
D: who among the dancers will pave way to the division meet representing the private schools
for dance sports there is only one way to find out
Both: good evening ladies and gentlemen welcome to our interprivate dance sports competition
2023
R: how are you today partner
D: I’m a little nervous because it's my first time to host this kind of competition I hope you can
do it how about your partner?
R: the feeling is mutual partner and yes we can do it I am pretty sure this would be a wonderful
and exciting night for every one of us who are gathered here only to witness the splendid
performances coming from our dancers
D: precisely partner we wanted to see a bombastic performance I presumed the coaches are also
nervous and eager to know who will be proclaim the best of the best dancers in the dance sports
R: so are you now excited?
D: yes, I am very much excited partner
R: so let's no longer prolong the agony of waiting
D: to formally commence the program let us all stand for a nurturing prayer after which will be
the singing of the Philippine national anthem and to be followed by the san Carlos city hymn to
be led to us by the sound system.
R: You may now be seated. In this juncture, may we all welcome with a roaring clap of hands
to our SCCPSA PRESIDENT REV. FR. JEZRYL QUIRANTE. Let's give him a round of
applause please!
D: Dance sport Competition is one of the highlights of this year’s Interprivate Sports
Competition. Dance sport offers unique advantages. It is not only a rhythmical exercise that
adds life, graceful muscular movements but it is also a group recreation. A girl who has learned
to be a good ballroom dancer never fades into a wall flower. A boy who can dance is spared
from many agonies of a teenage self-consciousness. Children who dance well are popular, ones
instilled, those ingredients of a good manners are never forgotten. Thus, dance sport offers more
than mere steps, it includes charm of manners and consideration of other.
R: This year, we want to return to the basics of rhythmic sports to instill discipline in creative
and artistic ways. Moreover, the two categories of dance sport competition are Latin American
Dance and Modern Standard Dance. Latin Dances originated in Latin America which features
sensual expression of love and passion whereas standard dances, are social dances which show
quick steps and difficult poses.
D: Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves as we witness the parade of the dancers.

D: we have just witnessed the parade of the gorgeous and handsome couples and proud coaches
of this year's dance sports competition. This time this activity won’t be possible without the

D: every competition there is a rule guidelines and criteria at this point may we call on Ms.
Maiden Kaporretr Gadiane for the reading of rules guidelines and criteria for today's
competition.
R; thank you so much mam, so now are you ready? Now let's start the competition
D: so may we begin with a juvenile category
The latin american dance grade E ladies and gentlemen our dancers in cha cha cha dance.
R: up next latin american dance grade c ladies and gentlemen our dancers in their cha-cha-cha
samba and jive dance
D: so let's proceed in modern standard ladies and Gentlemen our dancers in their slow waltz
tango and quickstep
R: there you have it ladies and gentlemen our dancers for juvenile category. Let's Give them a
round of applause please.
D: now let's proceed to our junior category
R: let's start with the latin american grade E from colegio de santo tomas recoletos. Ladies and
gentlemen our first couple in their cha-cha-cha performance.
D: next up the dancers from colegio de santo tomas recoletos in their cha cha cha and jive dance
R: let's proceed for our couple from colegio de santa rita who will dance the modern standard
waltz let's give them a round of applause please.
D: at this juncture we have two competitors for Latin american Grade C. Let's start with the
dancers from tañon college as they dance the cha-cha-cha rumba and jive
R: next up our second couple from colegio de santo tomas recoletos as they gave us the dance
for cha cha cha rumba and jive
D: There you have it ladies and gentlemen our dancers for tonight's event. Oh my god they give
as an unstoppable performance they are so much good to watch, very entertaining. Right
partner?
R: that's true partner but while waiting for the result let us entertain by our

D: ok so before we announce the winners let's congratulate all the participants.


R: Congratulations kiddos! You have just proven your worth. The greatest prize of joining this
event is not only representing your schools but the enjoyment and fun you had as you attack the
dancefloor.
D: Definitely partner. As an old age says, “Many are called yet few are chosen.” This implies
that you must not be disgusted with the results because in the very first place you have already
brought an honor and glory not only to your school but also with your humble Self.
R: So before that may we gave this certificate of appreciation to our dear adjudicators. Let me
read to you the certificate.
D: Thank you so much our dear adjudicators
So now, here's what we've all been waiting for, the announcement of winners. Let's start with
the Juvenile Category we have the First place for Cha Cha Cha we have from CSR.
