They will present their information through illustrations and concept maps.
Guidelines:
● Learners will research about how day and night is caused.
● They will also research on why different countries and places have different times and how rotation of the Earth affects this.
● They will research UTC.
● They will present the information in the form of a concept map. Use of pictures/illustrations to enhance the presentation will be appreciated.
● The work should be done on A 4 sheets with neat 2cm pencil borders. Colour pencils can be used to enhance the mind maps. Sketch pens are not allowed.

● The cover page (1 st page) must include the school name, the title of the social science project, the learner’s name, grade, and section.
● On the 2nd page, the aim, an introduction to the topic of how the industry helps us meet our needs and the main features of cottage industry, small-scale
industry, and large-scale industry. The learners will write about their experiences while doing the survey.
● On the 3 rd page, learners can paste newspaper clippings, pictures, or printouts and write below it the following information: whether it was made by a
machine or by hand, as well as the industry it is most likely to have been produced.
● Gathered information should be analysed, and the findings should be written in their own words.
● The page numbers should be mentioned in the bottom-right corner of each page.
● Creativity and presentation will be accounted for.
● The project should consist of at least 3 pages.
