Academic CVs (depending upon your experience) may vary in length from 2 to 5 pages and include additional
appendices detailing publications, conference attendance, research interests etc. This CV is aimed at an academic
audience, but in all cases, it is essential that you tailor the content of the CV to the role you are applying for - by
making sure you highlight all your experiences and skills relevant to that post.

in a supportive environment.
Member of the UK CV Research Methods Steering Committee. This group organises web resources and an online
point of contact for individuals interested in CV research methods in HE.
Equality and Diversity Champion for my Department. This role involves raising awareness of issues relating to
ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and disability to both staff and students.
