-After researching, suggest ways AI will help or will be a drawback in Medicine reports
or in the relationship between doctors and patients.
With the help of new AI technologies, the traditional medical environment has undergone
significant change in the field of medicine. Patient diagnosis using radiological, pathological,
endoscopic, ultrasonographic, and biochemical examinations has been successfully promoted with
a higher degree of accuracy and a lower human error rate. The traditional medical environment
has undergone significant change in the medical field with the aid of new AI technologies, and
patient diagnosis using radiological, pathological, endoscopic, ultrasonographic, and biochemical
examinations has been effectively promoted with a higher degree of accuracy and reduced human
workload. With superior surgical results, the medical care provided throughout the perioperative
phase, which includes preoperative planning, the surgical period, and the postoperative recovery
period, was greatly improved. Additionally, AI technology has been instrumental in reshaping the
fields of medical administration, medical education, and drug development.
The drawbacks in AI are also important to address in the medical field, for example:
Empathy and emotional support: Artificial intelligence (AI) can help with emotional
support in healthcare settings, but it cannot completely replace human empathy. In order
to better serve patients' emotional needs, AI-powered solutions can employ sentiment
analysis to detect emotional clues in written or spoken communications from patients.
Inaccuracies are still possible: Medical AI is primarily reliant on diagnosis data from
millions of cataloged instances. Misdiagnosis is entirely feasible when there is limited data
on specific illnesses, demographics, or environmental factors. This becomes especially
crucial when giving specific medications.
AI systems are susceptible to security risks: Because AI is largely reliant on data
networks, AI systems are vulnerable to security threats. With the advent of Offensive AI,
enhanced cyber security will be essential to ensure the technology's long-term viability.
Human surveillance is required: Although artificial intelligence has advanced significantly
in the medical field, human supervision is still required. Surgery robots, for example, work
logically rather than empathetically. Health professionals may detect critical behavioral
insights that might aid in the diagnosis or prevention of medical issues.
