Struktur dan Ciri Kebahasaan

Text organization:
o Newsworthy events recount the event in summary form. Inform readers important or unique features of an event,
subjects related, as well as the location and the date. This paragraph answers the 5WH-questions.

o Background events elaborate what happened, to whom, and in what circumstances. Tell the readers the sequence of the
events in chronological order and sometimes also explain why the events happened.
o Sources are comments by participants in, witnesses to, and authorities expert on the event. Use in quote attribution and in
paraphrase and quote attribution in writing sources.

An Indonesian housemaid has been executed in Saudi Arabia after being convicted of killing her
employer, the Saudi Interior Minister said.

murder and other serious crimes can carry the death penalty in the conservative desert kingdom.

Instagram.
MN was arrested at his house on Jl. Karah in Jambangan district in Surabaya, East Java, on Sunday. He
was found to have paid some Rp3.8 million (US$250) for a baby boy when he was only three days old.
Surabaya police Chief Sr. Comr. Rudi Setiawan said recently that the transaction was conducted in
Semarang, Central Java, on Sept. 23. The baby’s parents live in Tangerang in Banten.
