Tessie Duldulao was born on July 19, 1932 in Borongan, Samar. She studied and earned her degree in
Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines. Teresita Duldulao is the wife of the famous author on
Philippine fine arts, Manuel Duldulao. She became the art director for Ace Compton Ad Agency and
Readers Digest Philippines.
In 1981, she retired from advertising to go into full time painting. She is known for creating highly
detailed still life subjects rendered in chalk pastels and makes wonderful landscapes using watercolor
and pastel.
