Animation
Animation effect is a visual moving effect of an object or text in the
PowerPoint slide. If these animations are properly applied in a presentation, it can
both capture the audience’s attention and can communicate the speaker or user’s
message clearly.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 animation effects give additional benefit to the
user to present the information in an interactive and impressive manner. The most
popular animation effects include entrance, emphasis, exit and motion path effect. A
sound effect can also be included to boost the intensify of animation effects.
Custom Animation list helps the user accurately organize the animation
sequence for a slide. The user can control the four categories of animations: the
entrance, emphasis, motion path and exit of objects on a slide. Each category has
many options to choose from such a Basic, Subtle, Moderate, and Exciting. There
are also additional animation effects available for text that can be used.

Kinds of Animation Effects

1. Entrance – immediately enters the slide once the Slide Show started. For
example, the object may appear gradually into focus, fly onto the slide from an
edge, or bounce into view.

2. Exit – manages how the object leaves the slide. For example, making an object to
fly off of the slide, disappear from view, or spiral off of the slide.

3. Emphasis – takes place while the object is on the slide, usually happen when
mouse click. For example, make an object to shrink or grow in size, lighten and
darken, or desaturate.

4. Motion Paths – have different stroke effects to make an

object follow. These movements are moving up or down, left
or right, a star or circular, or customized pattern.
