ABSTRACT

“Yi Sheing” is an hospital emergency service website which has an

ambulance service and booking of doctors appointment. This has been
developed to override the problems prevailing in the practicing manual
system. This website is supported to eliminate and in some cases reduce
the hardships faced by this existing system. Moreover this system is
designed for the particular need to carry out operations in a smooth and
effective manner. It is an user-friendly website which can lead to error
free, secure, reliable and fast management system.

INTRODUCTION

“Yi Sheing” has a 24*7 doctor’s appointment booking system and an

ambulance service. A doctor’s appointment booking system allows
patients to book an appointment from the comfort of their hoes, using
their computers, laptops or mobile, and at any time. No matter where
they are, they can contact doctors of their choice in any location.
Doctors can also adopt technology in the form of teleconsulting to
reach out to patients in remote corner.
Ambulance Service is an essential service during emergency for
transporting patients from houses, accident sites and hospitals.
Ambulance service can be started by private individuals offering their
services to different smaller hospitals or bigger hospitals so that
hospitals need not maintain Ambulance Service. There is a good scope
for starting ambulance services in smaller and bigger towns besides
major cities as the number of road accidents, heart attacks and other
diseases which require immediate attention are on the increase.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Patient experience is of paramount importance. No patient would like

an experience that is not smooth. An online doctor appointment system
enhances patient satisfaction. Patients no longer have to be worried
about the wait times in your clinic. They can plan their daily schedule
better. They spend less time waiting to meet the doctor. All this goes a
long way to enhance patient satisfaction.
The ambulance service is built to deliver the best in emergency care to
people through its ambulance services that is not only limited to
emergencies, but can be used by a patient to schedule check-ups &
appointments or simply to get home after being discharged from
hospital. The website connects users to emergency facilities by
providing timely ambulance service when required. With just one click
or a call, a patient can have our associated ambulances at the location
of their choice.

OBJECTIVES

The general objectives of the study is to develop a reliable, convenient

and accurate Hospital Emergency Service. The study has the following
specific objectives:
1. 24*7 Booking System:Anytime,Anywhere
2. Organise your schedule better
3. A doctor appointment booking system can be configured to send
reminders to patients prior to the time of their appointment
4. Staff have their time released from handling phone calls from
patients desiring appointments. Instead they can focus on other
tasks and improve their productivity.
5. Doctors should be able to see the list of appointments at any time
in addition to knowing the status of the appointment in terms of
whether the patient has arrived, whether her vitals have been
measured.
6. Access appointments on your computer, laptop and mobile
phone
7. Improves patient satisfaction

all fees can be collected prior to the appointment.

HARDWARE / SOFTEWRE Requirements
Hardware:

• At least 1GB of RAM

• Subline Text installed
• XAMP server installed

METHODOLOGY
The website starts by displaying the home page which consists of for
emergency call 911, home, department, specialist, contact, login or sign
up. To futher cotinue with the booking the user has to login in or click
on sign up. When the user clicks on sign up he has to enter his full
name, mobile number, email address,password and re-enter his
password and clicks on the submit button. If the user already has an
existing account he clicks on “login here” which shows the login page
where the user has to enter mail id and the password. When it
successfully logins it returns back to the home page. The user can now
book a doctor’s appointment where he can select the department and
specialist of his choice. Appointment details have to be filled which
also shows the doctor’s fees, further click on “confirm your
appointment”. When the admin confirms the appointment the user gets
a message saying that the appointment has been booked. For ambulance
service the user click on “911” where the location of the user is sent.

IMPLEMENTATION
The following software’s are to be downloaded and installed to run the
project:

CONCLUSION
The proposed online appointment system has been implemented in
android studio for website is developed using HTML and PHP. The
tasks involved in this work are divided into modules. The data is
approached and shared by using API’S between the website and the
android application. The proposed system is efficient and has friendly
user interface. Addition of the admin and doctor modules in the android
application are included in future work. That would help the doctor to
register on the application and perform all the tasks on the app. The
admin would be able to use the app for managing the details of the
patients and the doctors instead of using the website. A payment or
some amount may be charged to the users/patients while making an
appointment to avoid the unethical users. As many users only register
themselves just for fun and has no concern by making an appointment.
Some more future directions are the improvements in the patient’s
module which includes setting reminders for the appointments and
saving the appointment date to the calendar.
The online ambulance service is an idea proposed for saving a patient’s
life in a faster way possible. With this website, the ambulance can reach
the patients as location is given . Hence it reduces the time complexity
and helps to provide faster medical services
