Instructions For Group Work
1. Read the cases and answer the questions at the end of each case. You may need to refer to
several topics you have learned in this course to deal with these questions as follows:
Case Topic
You may apply the knowledge and skills you have learned in this course or else as long as
you find them relevant for the work. Remember to provide citation sources (if any) to avoid
plagiarism. If you have any difficulties, try to deal with them yourself because this is YOUR
work and do not ask me for favor because I have to keep it fair for all groups.
3. The products of your group work include slides and report for these cases. To make it easy
to follow, the slides for each case should be presented in one separate power point file (You
should NOT include slides of all cases in one file only). As there are 6 cases, each group
should prepare 6 power point files. These products have to include information of the group’s
members such as name and student ID. The slides should be used for discussions (see section
4 for more details).
4. The discussions for group work will take place in the 12 th, 13th and 14th weeks of the course
(refer to the schedule). In each discussion, 2 cases will be presented, following the above
order. Every group is required to participate in the discussions. Relevant questions of cases
will be given to random groups during the discussions. The groups are also encouraged to
actively contribute ideas and opinions for the discussions.
1
Slides should be used to show the findings more clearly. Each group has to submit the slides
of each case by sending them to the lecturer’s email no later than 2 days prior to the
discussion of the case. Note: Do NOT submit the slides to the .online class on Microsoft
Teams in order to protect your intellectual property.
5. Each group must prepare one report for group work. The report must provide complete
answers to all questions of the 6 cases. Each group has to submit the report no later than 1
week after the review session (which will take place in the 15 th week) by sending it to the
lecturer’s email. Note: Do NOT submit the report to the online class on Microsoft Teams in
order to protect your intellectual property.
6. The grade of group work will be determined based on the quality of each group’s slides
and report. All members in the same group receive the same grade.
