Romeo and Juliet

Narrator: Good afternoon class. And this is the story of Romeo and Juliet from
the long feud between Montague and Capulet family.

[Scene: The two families stand on each side of the street shouting insults at
each other]

Narrator: Both families always starting fights, the Prince of Verona is tired of
their constant fighting so he stopped the fighting and said.

[Scene: both family shouting at each other so the Prince of Verona stepped in
the middle and shouted]

prince of Verona: STOP! Stop shouting (angrily shouted), next time I see both
you starting a fight again, I will find the one who started the fight and he shall
be put to death.
Narrator: Both family walked away and so does the prince

[Create space in the middle]

Narrator: Romeo is in love with a girl named Rosalina, that doesn’t love him
back.
He heard there was a ball hosted by the Capulet family. Benvolio wanted
Romeo to go with him to crash the ball. But Romeo is hesitant but knowing
Rosalina would be there Romeo decided to go.

[outside the entrance of the ball where Romeo and Benvolio stand]

Benvolio: hey Romeo (gives Romeo a mask), use this so we won’t start a fight
with the Capulet’s again
narrator: they begin to sneak in and Romeo saw Rosaline in a far distance. He
began to walk to her attempting to talk with her.

Benvolio: (Pulled Romeo back) what are you doing? You know she doesn’t love
you, right?

Romeo: I know, but I have to try

Benvolio: you have to forget her. That’s why I wanted you to go here so you
could find another Young woman to love.

Narrator: Romeo still thinking about Rosaline. He accidently bumped into the
Capulets Daugther, Juliet. All thoughts of Rosaline began to leave Romeo head
as he instantly falls for Juliet.

Romeo: Hello mind for a dance with me? (Juliet accepted the offer)

Narrator: while dancing both of their mask fell and they discover each other
identity. Romeo left the ball knowing their love is forbidden.

[Create space in the middle]

[Scene: walking back slowly to their home]

Narrator: Romeo still thinking about Juliet. They walked pass the home of the
Capulet, Romeo unable to resist. He climbed over to see Juliet.

[Scene: he climbed over and Benvolio tried to stop him. Juliet appears on her
balcony]
Juliet: Oh Romeo, why did you leave?. Our love is forbidden, I’m a Capulet and
you are a Montague. But I don’t care anymore, Oh Romeo please accept my
love!

Narrator: After knowing Juliet love Romeo too, Romeo couldn’t resist any
further and got out of hiding. Juliet shocked to see Romeo

Juliet: Why are you here? If they found they will kill you (Concerned looked)

Romeo:(climb to the balcony) Oh Juliet. I did leave the ball but my mind is
still onto you, I love you Juliet.

Juliet: You love me?

Romeo: I fell for you the first time we meet, Juliet.

Juliet: you have to go, someone is calling me

Narrator: they sealed their love and vowed to meet the next day.

[Create space in the middle]

Narrator: in the morning Romeo turns to his friend Friar Lawrence his wish to
marry The daughter of his family’s enemy. And the Friar agreed to do so, as fast as
he can.

Romeo: Friar Lawrence, I wish to marry the Capulet’s Daughter, Juliet

Lawrence: You want to get married today? To the Capulet’s Daughter? the
enemies of your family?
 Romeo: Yes I know the risk I’m taking but I love Juliet more than anything!

Narrator: Meanwhile Juliet sends her nurse to make the arrangement. And that
afternoon Romeo and Juliet are secretly married in the Friar Lawrence’s cell

[Scene: typical wedding placement]

Lawrence: Romeo, the son of Montague do you accept the love of Juliet the
daughter of Capulet?

Romeo: yes

Lawrence: Juliet, do you accept Romeo to be your Husband?

Juliet: Yes I do

[Create space in the middle]

Narrator: After the wedding, Romeo soon finds himself in the middle of a fight
between his cousin and Juliet’s cousin. He stopped the fighting and tried to be
the peacemaker. However it is too late Romeo’s cousin is unconscious.

[Scene: Romeo ran and stopped the fighting but Mercutio is unconscious.
Furious, fought Tybalt]

Narrator: Furious about his beaten Cousin. He fought Juliet’s cousin Tybalt the
situation is getting worse and a Friar saw it so he told the Prince on what
happened.
Narrator: The prince was not happy after having learned of his fight with Tybalt,
he banished Romeo to Mantua.

[Scene: The Prince rushed over to stop both of them fighting and said]

Prince of Verona:I gave you a warning! And you broke it (madly said)

Prince of Verona: Romeo of the Montague I will spare killing. But I will banish
you to Mantua
