Early Warning System Driver
Location: On the brake pedal mounting bracket.
Purpose: Sends the EWS signal from the EPS to the
lift truck to communicate when an EPS shutdown is go-
ing to occur.
Data: Controlled by the EPS. The EPS sends a battery
voltage (+) input to the DR EWS when in operation.
The input switches the DR EWS to send an input to
Access 1. When the EPS stops sending the battery
voltage (+) signal, the DR EWS switches and stops
