Visakhapatnam (The Port City) was derived from the shrine of God Visakha, built by a King
of Andhra in 4th century. It is home to the oldest shipyard and the only natural harbour on the
east coast of India. It is often known as The Jewel of the East Coast, The City of Destiny and
the Goa of the East Coast. Visakhapatnam was ranked as the fifth cleanest city in India
according to the government's Swachhta Sarvekshan Rankings.
Araku is a Hill Station famous for valley, waterfalls, streams & coffee plantations. It can be
called as “Andhra Ooty”.

Tour Itinerary:
DAY 1 - Vishakhapatnam to Araku & back.
Board Train No. 08551 from Vishakhapatnam railway station take your train to Araku Valley.
Departure from Vishakhapatnam by Train no. 08551 at 06.45 hrs. Enjoy the train passing through
tunnels, Bridges and landscapes. Upon arrival at Araku at 10.55 hrs. Pick up from Arakku Station
visit the Tribal Museum Chapurai and Gardens. Lunch and return back to Vizag by road. Enroute
visit Ananthagiri Coffee Plantations, Galikonda View Point, Borracaves. Reach Vizag and drop
at VSKP Railway station or in the City limits.

IRCTC is not liable for missing of one or more services as per the itinerary due to late running
of trains. Tourists should strictly adhere to the timings failing which IRCTC will not be liable
for missing of any service including darshan and return train. If the tourists miss the bus
arranged by IRCTC at any place, they should reach the next place of the itinerary on their own.
Tourists should take care of their personal belongings and luggage. IRCTC is not liable for
losses or thefts.
