Arthur’s Daily Routine

Arthur is a student at London College. He tells his teacher, Mrs Jackson, about his typical day .
Arthur: I get up at seven o’clock every morning. I have a shower and get dressed. Then I have breakfast with eggs, honey, butter,
cheese, olives and tomatoes. I prefer drinking strawberry juice. After breakfast, I leave home at about eight o’clock and go to
school by school bus. I have lessons between half past eight in the morning and three o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t have
lunch at the school cafe. Instead, I eat an apple outdoor at 12:00.
Teacher: What do you do after school?
Arthur: After school, I attend my music course at quarter to three and play beautiful songs with my violin. I get tired, but I have
lots of fun.
Teacher: Do you play any other musical instruments?
Arthur: Oh, no, I don’t. Only the violin.
Teacher: So, what do you do after the course and in the evenings?
Arthur: I often go to a supermarket and do shopping after the course. I usually arrive home at about six o’clock. I do my
homework and have dinner with my family at eight o’clock. After dinner, we watch a movie on TV and then I go to my room and
listen to music. I sometimes go online and search information about my school subjects. I read a book before I go to bed.
Teacher: Do you go to bed early?
Arthur: Yes, I do. I always sleep at half past eleven. It is an early time especially for a young person.
