• Conduct TBT before starting the job, identify the activity steps hazards
and ensure all involved parties are involved in the TBT
• Competent supervision to be provided on-site.
• Relieve pressure in pipeline system is it’s required.
• Loading and offloading of pipes to be strictly in accordance with the
manufacturers’ recommendations (refer to manufacturer for
recommendations where necessary).
• Certified pipes with correct connection to be provided
• Use machinery to lift the pipes (Refer to Crane or forklift risk
assessment and JSA’s
• Safety Sign, in the Arabic language and English, stating “Danger -
Pressure work in Progress” to be placed in the area.
• Announcement in communication system to make everyone in work
location aware about the location and time of the pressure testing.
• Pressure Tester in charge shall ensure that all personnel involved in the
test crew are provided with appropriate PPE, and that the PPE is used
throughout the test.
• In case any leaks occurred the same shall be rectified by ensuring there
is no trapped pressure
• Communicate the lifesaving rules.
• A written schedule of inspection shall be in place for each pressure
system. And inspections shall be carried out and recorded by a
competent person.
• Provision of good quality pressure equipment.
• All pressure gauges shall be maintained and celebrated in regular basis.
• Barricade the pressure test area.

Examine air supply system for cracks, leaks in the air hose, or unsecured
air hose connections
Check the brakes for proper operations.
When stopping with load on line, make sure that break is applied.
When lifting a load, ensure that nobody is below the load & use of tag
lines
Ensure that manufacturer has installed a power failure protection device
on the hoist.
If two air hoists are used to lift one load, ensure that tension acting on
each wire rope should be equal to the tension of every other rope.
Periodical third
party inspection with Color coding system for all lifting equipments.
Maintenance of records for testing of all equipments.
JSA/NDT as applicable.

Valid calibration of torque gauges.


Full engagement of float valve into the float sub recess to prevent fall.
Make sure that the four pins of the Bit Breaker are not damaged/worn
out.
Pre-check on tongs to ensure proper size dies are being inserted.
Pre-check on the condition of the slips handle, segments and worn out
dies.
If Hole Opener is used, check thoroughly the straps.
Use of proper PPE
Procedure for make up drill pipe.
All hazards are being discussed in pre tour meeting and weekly safety
meetings.
Rig pass training for all drilling crew
Color coding and third party inspection.
• Conduct TBT before starting the job, identify the activity steps, hazards
and ensure all involved parties are involved in the TBT
• Conduct daily visual inspection ensure all equipment used during the
activity are in good condition
• Driller to maintain good supervision at Rig floor.

Verify that the cable is disconnected at the junction box.


Don’t proceed with LOTO unless you have all required LOTO devices
(locks/tags/hasps, etc.)
Wear full electrical PPE
Wear correct hot gloves with leather protective cover. Check that hot
gloves are certified and inspected before use.
Ensure cable spooler is properly grounded
• Conduct TBT before starting the job, identify the activity steps hazards
and ensure all involved parties are involved in the TBT
• Conduct daily visual inspection ensure all equipment used during the
activity are in good condition

pressure.

Always clip H2S monitor near the breathing zone


Stop and report any abnormal levels of H2S to the tool Pusher.
Look at the wind direction flag then ensure walk upwind to avoid direct
contact
Do not lay down on the floor or ground during H2S gas presence in the
area.
• Conduct TBT before starting the job, identify the activity steps
hazards and ensure all involved parties are involved in the TBT.
• Visual inspection for correct colour coding, SWL and sign of damage
before start using the lifting gear
• Forklift operator, crane operator and Haib operator are to be
competent and authorized to carry out the job• Tag lines shall be used
to control the load.
• Never use your hands to control the load.
• Loads not to be elevated on when operating on
soft/insecure/slopping/rutted/slippery surface.
• Outriggersto be used on cranes & Haib when
loading/offloading.
• Always have the escape route in case of emergency
• Use correct PPE for the task (Hand gloves, safety helmet, safety
glasses and safety boots).
• Maintenance and certification of the equipment.
• Use of Permit to Work if required
• Use of Lifting plan whenever required
• Competent Person in Charge is responsible for lifting operations to
provide effective supervision and to be known by all involved parties.

• Conduct TBT before starting the job, identify the activity steps
hazards and ensure all involved parties are involved in the TBT.
• Visual inspection for correct colour coding, SWL and sign of damage
before start using the lifting gear
• Forklift operator, crane operator and Haib operator are to be
competent and authorized to carry out the job• Tag lines shall be used
to control the load.
• Never use your hands to control the load.
• Loads not to be elevated on when operating on
soft/insecure/slopping/rutted/slippery surface.
• Outriggersto be used on cranes & Haib when
loading/offloading.
• Always have the escape route in case of emergency
• Use correct PPE for the task (Hand gloves, safety helmet, safety
glasses and safety boots).
• Maintenance and certification of the equipment.
• Use of Permit to Work if required
• Use of Lifting plan whenever required
• Competent Person in Charge is responsible for lifting operations to
