Background to its Development:

PotatoBoy was established in 2024 under the visionary leadership of nine senior high
school student managers. This aimed to create a unique and innovative business model that
would cater to the taste buds of the students at St. Anthony's College. The core idea behind
the business was to serve a diverse range of potato-based products, which would not only
be delicious but also offer a refreshing twist to the traditional potato dishes like fries and
chips. The goal is providing not only delectable food items but also a sense of excitement
and satisfaction to the customers. The team decided to incorporate a combination of
various potato products, including potato balls, potato swirls, and other unique offerings.
This strategic decision to focus on a wide variety of potato goodies which would allow
PotatoBoy to differentiate itself from competitors and cater to a diverse customer base.

Benefits and Features:

In the community of St. Anthony’s College, there are no vendors that sell potato-based
products. If one of the most popular derivations of the potato, fries, is a delicacy loved by
many, what more would other innovative potato products be like? PotatoBoy allows for a
diverse range of options in choosing your favorite potato variation. Pair that with the
popular coke float that is very affordable and refreshing. Not only are our potato products
great to the taste, they’re also easily portable, affordable, and comforting. In addition, if you
wish so, PotatoBoy offers delivery service so that you can enjoy sipping your coke float and
eating your favorite potato transformation without even having to wait at the physical
store.

Products we are Selling:

exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. It is as pleasing to the eyes at it is in the mouth. Seasoned
with simple seasonings, these potato swirls will certainly be a great addition to your
Instagram story, as well as your taste buds.
Potato Cheese Balls
- A deep-fried ball of mashed potatoes with quick-melt cheese in its interior. It is served
with mayonnaise and other seasonings, which mixes well with the softness of the potato
and sweetness of the melted cheese. One bite from the cheese ball will ooze out the
combinations of flavor it has to offer.

A great pair to the steaming, but great-tasting elevated potatoes our business has to offer.

Unique Selling Points

Elevated Products: We turn a very simple, singular raw material into a blast of variations
that are not commonly found. The things that are once bland by itself, are combined with
the art of innovation and mixture and are elevated into the savory products that they are
now.
A Rare Find: Nowadays, it is a rarity to see other potato-centric product being sold on the
corners of the streets. While there still are some who do sell these kinds of products, you
usually only find fries. With this, we bring newer delicacies and variations of potatoes for a
new tasting experience.
Witty Branding: Our brand name and tagline both use creative wordplay that mainly
focuses on alluring costumers by way of making them laugh or surprised. This increases
our brand awareness and establishes a comedic and light atmosphere whenever you see or
hear about our business.

Advantages to Costumers
Incentive System: Our business offers incentives for those who are loyal costumers of our
products by way of introducing a loyalty card system which offers greater rewards in
exchange for their loyalty to the business.
Buying Convenience: We offer delivery services which means that, if the costumer wills it,
all they have to do is place their order and identify a location where it will be dropped at.
This allows costumers to do their daily tasks without having to wait at the physical store,
all the while having the assurance that their food and drinks will be delivered at their
comfort.
Diversified Menu: Even though our products are derived from one main component only,
our business offers a wide variety of options to choose from enabling the customers to not
only have more food options, but also new food experiences.
Good Costumer Service: Above all, we assure that the staff of the business puts great
emphasis on the service to our customers. Our business is meant to have a light
atmosphere where conversations and greetings are wholly welcome, as well as quality
service.
Disadvantages or Weak Points
Time Bound: Due to the lack of preparation time, our business loses out on possible
opportunities for expansion and innovation.
No Alternative Food Products: Despite having a wide variety of potato-based products,
we do not offer other food products as an alternative if potatoes do not sell well.
Lack of Brand Awareness: Since this business is an up and coming business, we have yet
to establish a consumer-base which would make the early stages of simulation rather
difficult.
Future Developments
- Once our business grows steady, we are open to innovate more and expand on not just
potatoes in itself, but also on the exploration of other products that can be elevated into
new delicacies. It is also a possibility that once our business earns a good amount of profit,
we will use this to upgrade our equipment and invest in marketing strategies in order to
garner more attention from other consumers.
Objectives
- To generate a profit from selling goods.
- To provide the desires and needs of the community.
- To promote the innovation of products and entrepreneurial skills
