Introduction

Barack Obama is real name Barack Hussein Obama,Sr., 44th President of the United States
of America, was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. (1936-1982) (born in Oriang'
Kogelo of Rachuonyo North District, Kenya) and Stanley Ann Dunham, also known as Ann
(1942- 1995) (born in Wichita, Kansas, United States).He has sixty three years old

He is an American politician who served as the 44th president of the United States from
2009 to 2017.
A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first African-American president in U.S.
history. Obama previously served as a U.S. senator representing Illinois from 2005 to 2008,
as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004, and as a civil rights lawyer and university
lecturer.

Obama worked at various times as a community organizer, lawyer, lecturer and senior
Lecturer of constitution .

Obama spent most of his childhood years in Honolulu, where his mother attended the
University of Hawaii at Manoa. Obama started a close relationship with his maternal
grandparents. In 1965, his mother remarried to Lolo Soetoro from Indonesia. Two years
later, Dunham took Obama with her to Indonesia to reunite him with his stepfather. In
1971, Obama returned to Honolulu to attend Punahou School, from which he graduated in
1979.

Had their first child Malia Ann Obama, she was born on July 4, 1998 in Chicago. She is the
eldest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama. She has a younger sister, Natasha known
by the nickname (Sasha).

Malia Obama was a student at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. She then joined
Harvard University in 2017, in the class of 2021, after completing an internship at The
Weinstein Company. She also masters the Spanish language.

She studied at the Sidwell Friends School (en) from 2009 to 2019, at the University of
Michigan and at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools.

•THE CHILDHOOD OF BARACK OBAMA

His parents ,who met as students at the university of Hawaï. His mom Ann Dunham it’s a
white American from Kansas and his father Barack Obama Senior it’s a black Kenyan
studying in the United States .

Obama’s father left the family when Obama was two years old, he died nineteen later .
Obama spent most of his childhood years in Honolulu , where his mother attended the
university of Hawaï at Manoa .

After his parents divorced his mother married another student at the university of Hawaï ,
his name Lolo Soetoro of Indonesia in 1965 From age six through ten , Obama lived with his
mother and stepfather in Indonesia ,where he attended catholic and Muslin Schools.

“I was raised as an Indonesian child and a Hawaïan child and as black child and as white
child “, Obama later recalled .

Concerned for his education, his mother sent him back to Hawaï to live with her parents, so
he started a close relationship with his maternal grandparents, and to attend Hawaï ‘s
prestigious Punahou School from fifth grade through graduation from high school.

While Obama was in school , his mother divorced Soetoro .

Living his grandparents, Obama was a good but not outstanding student at Punahou .

He played varsity basketball and , as he later admitted,”dabble in drugs and alcohol “,


including marijuana and cocaine . As for religion, Obama later wrote , because his parents
and grandparents were nonbelievers .

Obama left Hawaï for college , obtains his baccalaureate , after high school,Barack Obama
studying two years at occidental college in Los Angeles and then at Columbia university in
New York City and Harvard Law School.

He graduated in 1983 with a University baccalaureate in political Science and International


Relations Specialty . He is , in 1990 the first African American to chair the prestigious
Harvard .

He do ascension to the white house , he received the Nobel price of peace in 2009 .
