Sample Exam
THIS SAMPLE EXAM IS ALMOST SIMILAR TO THE ONE YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE ON
THE DAY OF THE EXAM IN THE IELTS CENTER (THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT IN
THE REAL EXAM YOU HAVE TO PASS 40 QUESTIONS INSTEAD OF 20)
- TRY TO CUT AND PASTE IN THE WRITING (IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE
ORDER OF YOUR WRITING)
- IN THE READING, YOU CAN ALSO COPY AND PASTE THE WORD FROM THE
TEXT (AND YOU CAN AVOID SPELLING ERRORS)
- CLICK THE REVIEW BUTTON IF YOU WANT TO COME BACK TO THAT QUESTION
AFTERWARDS (A CIRCLE IS GOING TO APPEAR INSTEAD OF A SQUARE)
PLEASE WHEN YOU FINISH EACH SECTION, AT THE END A “REVIEW” BUTTON IS
GOING TO APPEAR. CLICK ON IT AND COPY YOUR ANSWERS IN THIS SHEET. (YOU
ARE NOT GOING TO DO THIS IN THE FINAL EXAM, BUT WE NEED TO SEE YOUR
ANSWERS TO GIVE YOU A FINAL SCORE)
SECTION 1: LISTENING ( THERE ARE JUST 24 QUESTIONS BUT THE REAL EXAM
CONSIST OF 40 QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE IN 30 MINUTES)

SECTION 4: SPEAKING
[This part of the test begins with the examiner introducing himself or herself and checking the
candidate’s identification. It then continues as an interview.]
→ We want you to grab yourself with your phone and put the assignment in you Drive folder
under the name: “Speaking PART 2_FirstNameLastName”
You have now finished all the tasks, congratulations! :) We made a Drive folder for
every single one of you. After completing all tasks, we would like to ask you to put
them in your assigned folder in our shared Drive so that James can assess your
level.
The purpose of this exercise is to measure your English level at the start of our
classes and after. You all will have to complete a similar kind of English mock exam
at the end of our classes, which will once again let us determine your level.
We hope all of you are motivated to start the classes and we hope you’ll all put the
effort in to complete your assignments and homework, as that is also an important
part of improving your skills and preparing yourself the best way possible for the
exam!
Good luck and see you in the next class with teacher James :)
