In alignment with the Department's overarching goal of fostering the comprehensive


development of students through sports, schools are urged to establish their own sports clubs,
incorporating mandatory and context-specific preferred sports.

We propose conducting the district selection meet on December 07,2023 at Doña Rosario
Central Elementary School. As a prerequisite for participation in the selection meet, only
student-athletes duly certified as members of school-based clubs will be eligible.

By organizing this selection meet, we aim to identify talented athletes who can represent our
district in the Division Meet 2024. This event not only showcases the sporting prowess of our
students but also instills values of discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition. It is an
excellent opportunity for our students to develop their motor skills, fitness, and overall well-
being.

We kindly request your approval to proceed with the organization of the selection meet,
ensuring that the eligibility criteria are strictly adhered to. The details of the event, including
date, venue, and logistics, will be diligently coordinated, and communicated upon receiving the
green light.
