- Definite and Indefinite articles
Definite (the identity is known) like the, Indefinite (the identity is not known)

- Participial phrases
An adjective phrase is headed by a participle (present and past participle)
Present participle (ending “-ing”)
Past participle (usually ending “-ed, -d, -t, -en, or -n”)
Note for the teacher: In the following activity you are going to
use nonverbal gestures. Sentences will be read and if you think
the sentence is grammatically correct, you will stand but if the
sentence is not grammatically correct just remain seated.

Daily Living (4 minutes) What do you mean by correct?
Give other words that can be associated with correct.
What is the opposite for correct?
If somebody commits mistake or gets wrong what will you say/or what will be
your reaction? Would you laugh at him/her?
Let’s pay respect to everybody, we should not laugh at the mistakes of others.
We should take care of others.
Differentiated activities
Note for the teacher: This is a group activity. Those who have the passion in
singing, they will be in group 1 and those who love to write and love to deliver
speeches, they will be in group 2.
Numeracy skills
Reminders:
For group 2, they will take note of the following. They will write a poem of
twelve (12) lines. The poem should consist of three (3) stanzas of four (4) lines
each. They will count well the lines of the poem they are to write. And during
the presentation they will divide the members of the group.
Literacy skills
The speech choir presentation enhances their literacy skills.
