Magnelis Light

Magnelis® Light is a metallic coating developed by ArcelorMittal as an alternative to galvanized steel coatings. It contains magnesium, aluminum, and zinc. Magnelis® Light offers superior corrosion protection and requires less maintenance than galvanized steel during processing and use. It also allows for easier forming and welding. Magnelis® Light is available in thicknesses between 70 and 175 g/m2 to substitute galvanized coatings between Z100 and Z350. It provides equal or better performance than galvanized steel while reducing environmental impact.
