DIDACTIC PROCESS
1. Presentation/ Warm-up Ice breaker:
(5 minutes)  The teacher will start the class asking students a question about the new
vocabulary. Do you like sports?
 Then, the teacher will continue showing some pictures (pictures are
Listening and Speaking included in the PPT) with different sports and they are going to listen to
the pronunciation of each of them.

 After that, students will stand up and the teacher will repeat each sport
again but this time doing mimics depending on the sport that is being
shown and students must follow what the teacher does repeting the name
of the sport at the same time. After this, students can sit down.
2. Practice / Class  The teacher will introduce the main topic “CAN AND CANNOT” using
development examples with the vocabulary already taught and explaining the usage of
(25 minutes) each auxiliary.
 Students will pronounce each auxiliary and the teacher will explain the
complete form for can’t.
 Students will write down the information in their notebooks.

 Then, students will sing a song related to the topic to practice


pronunciation. IMPORTANT YOU WILL FIND THE AUDIO IN FILES THE
NAME OF THE AUDIO IS: “Listening Kids - Class development - Can and
Can't”.

 Now students will work individually in a worksheet in exercise 1, they will
match the number with the picture that each represents following the
example.
 After that activity, they will complete exercise 2 by making a circle if they
can do the action it says.
 In any case all students need help with the vocabulary, the teacher will

3. Production / Activities  Before start with the activity, the teacher will show how to ask and
(10 minutes) answer questions with “CAN”.
 Then, the teacher will assign some time to develop the activity that
will be in pairs, they are going to ask each other 2 questions and
write the answer provided by his classmate writing the sentence and
completing it in his notebook. The teacher, will give an example of
how to complete the sentences.

4. Wrap-up  The teacher will give students a short pragraph where they have to
(5 minutes) CIRCLE all auxiliaries CAN, underline all auxiliaries CAN’T and make a
square in all the complete forms of CANNOT.

5. Assessment The assessment will be present in all the activities to develop with students. Also,
if students have any question about vocabulary, the teacher will write a vocabulary
with the unknown words for them to understand them better.
