Today, I conducted a Rapid Literacy Assessment to the students. My RT let me guide the students. I have
a lot of realizations like; what will be the future of these children if they aren’t proficient enough to read
and pronounced words properly. They cannot read a sentence with conviction. They cannot read the
sentence straight.
I tried to correct their reading after them, but then my cooperating teacher told me not to. Just let them
she said.
After that my resource teacher asked me, what have you noticed then I said I pity them. In a sense that
they are not helping themselves to get out on their comfort zone. Especially those kids who do not know
how to read and comprehend are those who are stubborn and hard headed and attention seeker.
Even the teacher can testify. So she advised me that my goal for this field study and in the near Practice
Teaching is teach those children, how to read with conviction and enunciation.
DAY III September 20, 2023
This is my third day at Cabitan National High School. The feeling is so overwhelmed, the greetings
of the students motivates me to be a teacher and pursue what I have started. So, since today is
Wednesday, I don’t have a class to observe to. What I did is that I answered my Field Study 1
and 2 Book. How productive it was a Im a little bit pressure seeing the stories on social media
of my classmates. They totally reach how many pages on the books. With that, it serve as my
motivation to do more and my goal is to finish a one episode from the book per day.
We gather photos around the school campus to see if there are still display boards available
despite the DepEd Order from the Secretary of Education Vice President Sara Duterte.
DAY IV September 21, 2023
Today my cooperating teacher conducted a long test to two sections of grade 8. The test
was about context clues and writer’s purpose. But before the test a prayer was given followed by
roll calling of the student’s name. The teacher carefully read the directions to students. I was
amaze that even though it was announced previously that the will going to have given ample time
to review, my teacher opts to still gave them time to re-read their notes and review,
And among the sections that I have observed for the past few days, the star section of
grade 8 makes me proud because they’re very good at reading. They totally excel.
After they answer the summative test ma’am Mariel did an energizer activity; she let the
student’s dance. And they enjoyed a lot.
Lastly, they checked their papers for the afternoon session. I have observed the section
of grade 8- Axinite. The topic discussed to them watch on the tv it was the new report from 24
oras and the show named reporters notebook. After they watch the teacher let the student
identify what is the difference between the 24 oras and reporter’s notebook.
DAY V, FRIDAY (SEPTEMBER 22, 2023)
Today as part of our assistantship to our cooperating teacher, she let sorted the
documents of the students for the portal of online enrollment such as good moral,
birth certificate, form 138, and so on.
I also answered my field study book to complete the remaining activity. After that,
she let me share my time to the other field study student.
Day VII Tuesday (September 26 2023)
As what I have observe with the remaining students who have read, they are
having a hard time however there are others who read it like a flash.
Afterwards, Ms. Mariel taught me how to enroll the students to the portal.
What I just have to do is, double check the documents at its finest then take a
look at the computer screen if the information written for the name of the
students is correct as well as the information of the Guardians.
This became a very long and tiring day but I know I have become productive. I
ts nice to feel that I was able to help and make the work of my cooperating
teacher lighter. Its fulfilling!
This was not a very long day due to Proclamation order from the
DepEd about the Kainang Pilipino Program , Mahalaga Day. The students
were dismissed early at 3PM.
My lifelong strategy has been one of improving myself as much as possible in anyway possible.
I have found this to be very satisfying and has helped achievelifelong balance and
happiness in my entire life. As my surroundings and I changemy challenge will be to maintain
the balance and happiness for myself and byapplying evolution and growth principles in all
and every aspect of my life. It is assimple as that. It is always based on those guidelines that I try
to function andevaluate my overall high level performance as a person. When I know that I did
well, I feel good and that makes me feel happy. My overall goal in life in general isto maintain a
very good balance and happiness for myself and my family. I think Ican guarantee that level of
happiness by staying on and maintaining this continuedpath of personal growth and
improvement. . In order to properly assess myself Ineed to first clearly identify where I am, and
where I want to be. Knowing where Icame from and how I got here helps me evaluate whether
or not I am going in theright path. Once I have that defined I need to try to visualize my path to
where Iam
DAY VIII Wednesday (September 27, 2023)
It's been a busy day at FS Book, and there's so much to capture before I close the
chapter on today.
First up, the morning started with a flurry of creative energy. The design team was hard
at work refining the user interface for the upcoming feature. I caught a glimpse of the
mock-ups, and let me tell you, they're bringing some serious style to the table. It's like
they're giving FS Book a fresh coat of paint, and I'm here for it!
Then, the dev team dove headfirst into coding. Lines of code danced across the
screens, and I couldn't help but marvel at the intricate dance between human creativity
and machine precision. It's like poetry in binary.
Lunchtime rolled around, and the team gathered for a working lunch. Discussions
buzzed around the table, ideas bouncing back and forth like a game of intellectual ping
pong. There's something magical about minds coming together to shape something
greater than the sum of its parts.
It's always fascinating to see how they craft the narrative around new features. Words
are their paintbrushes, and they're painting a picture of excitement and anticipation. I
can almost feel the buzz building in the air.
As the day winds down, I take a moment to reflect. The remaining tasks on the FS Book
project are like puzzle pieces scattered on a table, waiting to be connected. Each piece
plays a crucial role in the bigger picture, and the team is methodically putting them in
place.
There's a palpable sense of purpose in the air—a shared vision that propels everyone
forward. It's not just about completing tasks; it's about building something that will
enhance the FS Book experience for users around the globe.
And so, as the sun sets on another day in the world of FS Book, I can't help but feel a
sense of gratitude. Grateful for the talented individuals pouring their creativity into this
project, grateful for the opportunity to witness the birth of something new.
Tomorrow is another day, filled with new challenges and triumphs. But for now, I'll sign
off and let the night take over, knowing that the story of FS Book is still unfolding, one
line of code at a time.
DAY IX Thursday (September 28, 2023)
Today was an exhilarating day as I had the privilege of facilitating the Science Day at
our school—an event that transformed the classrooms into arenas of curiosity and
discovery.
The morning kicked off with a palpable sense of excitement. The auditorium buzzed with
students eagerly awaiting the day's scientific adventures. The theme, "Exploring the
Wonders of the Universe," set the stage for a day filled with cosmic exploration and
hands-on experimentation.
The first session, led by a guest speaker from the field of astrophysics, ignited the
students' imagination. The room was a canvas painted with galaxies and constellations
as the speaker unfolded the mysteries of the cosmos. The students, wide-eyed and
captivated, were transported to the far reaches of the universe without leaving their
seats.
Next up were interactive workshops where students became scientists for the day. From
chemistry experiments that bubbled with excitement to physics demonstrations defying
gravity, the classrooms became laboratories of exploration. The joy on the faces of
students as they conducted their own experiments was a testament to the magic of
hands-on learning.
The highlight of the day was the science fair, where students showcased their projects
with pride. The corridors were lined with exhibits ranging from eco-friendly innovations
to biology displays that showcased the wonders of the natural world. It was a carnival of
knowledge, and the enthusiasm was contagious.
As the facilitator, my role was not just to guide but to witness the sparks of curiosity turn
into flames of understanding. It was a humbling experience to see the students engage
with science beyond textbooks, embracing the spirit of inquiry that is the heart of
scientific exploration.
The closing ceremony was a celebration of curiosity, collaboration, and creativity.
Certificates were awarded, and the applause echoed the collective achievement of the
entire school community coming together to make Science Day a resounding success.
Reflecting on the day, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and fulfillment. Science
Day was not just an event; it was a celebration of the inherent human drive to
understand the world. The seeds of scientific curiosity planted today will undoubtedly
grow into a forest of knowledge in the minds of these young learners.
As the curtains close on this chapter, I am left with a heart full of gratitude for the
opportunity to facilitate a day that sparked wonder and ignited a passion for science.
Until the next scientific adventure, Journal.
DAY XI Monday (October 2, 2023)
Today took an unexpected turn as the school declared a suspension of classes in honor
of the Municipality Teachers' Day celebration. The announcement, delivered with an air
of excitement, created a ripple of anticipation among students and teachers alike.
The morning began with the realization that the usual routine would be disrupted. There
was an unusual buzz in the hallways as students exchanged curious glances and
teachers shared smiles, knowing that a day of surprise awaited them.
The decision to suspend classes for the Municipality Teachers' Day celebration brought
a mix of emotions. On one hand, there was a collective sigh of relief from students who
saw an unplanned day off as a gift of unexpected leisure. On the other hand, there was
an undercurrent of curiosity as everyone wondered what festivities awaited them.
The celebration kicked off with a lively assembly where the achievements and
contributions of teachers across the municipality were acknowledged. The atmosphere
was festive, with colorful decorations and an array of activities planned to express
gratitude to the educators who play a pivotal role in shaping the community's future.
As the day unfolded, the school transformed into a hub of celebration. Students took the
opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities, from impromptu sports matches on
the field to creative workshops in the art rooms. It was a day where the boundaries of
traditional learning were temporarily lifted, giving everyone a chance to explore
alternative avenues of expression.
The highlight of the day was the Municipality Teachers' Day parade, where teachers
were celebrated with cheers and applause. The streets echoed with the sounds of joy
as the community came together to express appreciation for the dedication and hard
work of the educators.
The suspension of classes turned out to be a refreshing break from the usual routine,
offering a chance for both students and teachers to recharge and reconnect. It was a
reminder that learning doesn't always happen within the confines of a classroom, and
sometimes, a day of celebration can be as educational as any lesson in a textbook.
As the day comes to an end, there's a sense of gratitude in the air—a collective
acknowledgment of the importance of teachers in shaping not just individual lives, but
the fabric of the entire community.
Day XIV Thursday (October 5, 2023)
Today was a day of delightful surprises and shared joy as I, along with fellow officers,
orchestrated a heartwarming gesture to celebrate our teachers at DEBESMSCAT.
The morning started with an air of secrecy as we gathered in the early hours to prepare
for our mission of appreciation. Balloons of every hue adorned the room, and the aroma
of freshly baked cupcakes filled the air. The excitement among us officers was
contagious as we carefully crafted a plan to make the day unforgettable for our
dedicated teachers.
As we stealthily made our way to the school, the anticipation built. The sun was just
beginning to cast its golden glow on the campus as we entered, armed with balloons
and trays of cupcakes adorned with gratitude-filled notes.
The first sight of teachers entering the school created a ripple of excitement. With a
swift and coordinated effort, we transformed the usually mundane corridors into a
vibrant tapestry of colors. Balloons floated gracefully, each one carrying a message of
appreciation. The cupcakes, a sweet symbol of our gratitude, were arranged in a central
spot—a surprise waiting to unfold.
The reactions were priceless. As teachers entered the school, their eyes lit up with
surprise and joy. Laughter and exclamations of delight echoed through the halls. It was
a simple gesture, but the impact was profound—a shared moment of connection and
appreciation.
The highlight of the surprise was a brief ceremony where each teacher received a
personalized balloon and a cupcake. The expressions ranged from genuine surprise to
heartfelt smiles, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and appreciation.
The day unfolded as a celebration of the human connection that exists within the school
community. Beyond the textbooks and lesson plans, there is a tapestry of relationships
woven by the dedication and hard work of our teachers.
As the day comes to a close, I can't help but feel a sense of fulfillment. Today wasn't
about academics or deadlines; it was about recognizing the human aspect of education.
It was a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful lessons are the ones learned
through simple gestures of kindness and appreciation.
Day XVI Monday (October 9, 2023)
Today marked a day of immense productivity as I delved into the intricate world of FS
Book, determined to finish answering the remaining questions and bring this chapter to
a close.
The morning began with a clear sense of purpose. Armed with my favorite cup of coffee
and a quiet determination, I immersed myself in the virtual landscape of FS Book. The
remaining questions stood before me like puzzle pieces waiting to be connected, and I
was ready to unravel the complexity.
The process was akin to navigating a labyrinth of ideas. Each question posed its unique
challenge, requiring a blend of creativity and precision. It was a dance between words,
concepts, and the overarching theme that defines FS Book
As the day unfolded, I found myself in a state of flow—an immersive experience where
time seemed to stretch and contract with the rhythm of my thoughts. The digital canvas
transformed with each keystroke, capturing the essence of the ideas flowing from mind
to screen.
The challenge wasn't just in answering the questions; it was about weaving a narrative
that resonates with the spirit of FS Book. Every sentence, every word was a conscious
choice, an attempt to convey not just information but a sense of connection and
engagement.
There were moments of revelation—insights that illuminated the path forward. The
synergy between creativity and logic became apparent as I navigated through the
intricate web of ideas, ensuring that each response contributed to the larger tapestry of
FS Book's identity.
The afternoon brought with it a sense of accomplishment. The last question was
answered, the final period placed with a satisfying click of the keyboard. It was a
moment of closure, a punctuation mark on a day dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge
and articulation
As I reflect on the day, I am reminded that productivity isn't just about crossing items off
a to-do list; it's about the journey of creation and exploration. FS Book, with its myriad
questions, served as a canvas for intellectual expression—a testament to the power of
ideas and the joy of bringing them to life.
The digital pages of FS Book now hold the imprint of today's efforts—a snapshot of a
day where productivity wasn't a task but a journey of intellectual discovery.
