BACK-UP PROCEDURE
On the NC parameter screen, press the soft key several times, and the soft keys as shown
below are displayed. Press the ALL IO key.
6) Output starts.
The file name will automatically be created as an output starts by pressing the EXEC key if a file
name was not specified at F NAME.
*From the 31i series, the NC parameters are in one file (regardless of whether the machine
having 2 pathes). Therefore, no separate output is needed for the left and right sides.
3) Select spindle.
Select one of the spindles to be output by pressing the SELECT LEFT or SELECT RIGHT on the
operational panel.

6) Starts output
The file name will automatically be created as an output starts by pressing the EXEC key if a file
name was not specified at F NAME.
Use almost the same set-up procedures as with the NC parameters and programs.
To set-up file names for output, press the PITCH ERROR key before pressing the OPRT key.
Then, set-up file names in the same as the NC parameters and programs, and press the EXEC
key.
Pitch error compensation data file name: PITCH.TXT
*As well as the NC parameters, pitch error compensation data are in one file (regardless of
whether the machine having 2 pathes), and no respective output is needed for the left and
right sides.
Then, set-up a file name in the same way as the NC parameters and programs, and press the
EXEC key.

Press the soft key PARAM. WRITE.
3) Output confirmation
When the PARAM. WRITE key is pressed at the previous step 2), a promting message to start
outputting is displayed. Then press the PARAM. WRITE key again to start outputting.

Press the soft key LOADER WRITE.

When the LOADER WRITE key is pressed at the previous step 2), a message prompting to start
outputting is displayed. Then press the LOADER WRITE key again to start outputting.
*With the twin gantry configuration, you must output loader programs from left and right
sides separately by choosing the left or right as follows:
(L) loader program data file name: ALLLDL0.PRG
(R) loader program data file name: ALLLDR0.PRG
(“0” remains unchanged.)
If the CYC. TB WRITE key is not displayed, press the key or the key.
Press both
Move the cursor with the [UP], [DOWN] keys to 6.SYSTEM DATA SAVE, and press the [SELECT]
key.
Same as step (3), move the cursor with the [UP], [DOWN] keys to the file to be back-uped, and
press the [SELECT] key. Press the soft key to display the next file among some other files.
back up the data, press the [YES] key. (If you press the [NO] key, you can cancel the back up.)
Upon terminating normally, the system displays the following message. Press the [SELECT] soft
key.
*** MESSAGE ***
FILE SAVE COMPLETE. HIT SELECT KEY.
SAVE FILE NAME : ********.***
[SELECT][ YES ][ NO ][ UP ][ DOWN ]
Repeat the above procedures until you finish backing up all of the files you need to save such as
CLB_ and PMC_ files.

5) Finish SYSTEM DATA SAVE (END)
Select END with the [UP], [DOWN] keys and press the [SELECT] key.
You then return to SYSTEM MONITOR MAIN MENU shown at step (3).
6) Finish SYSTEM MONITOR MAIN MENU(END)
Select 1.END with the [UP], [DOWN] keys and press the [SELECT] key.
Move the cursor with the [UP], [DOWN] keys to 7.SRAM DATA UTILITY, and press the [SELECT]
key.
Move the cursor with the [UP], [DOWN] keys to 1.SRAM BACKUP, and press the [SELECT]key. A
confirmation message should be displayed.
When you save the data, press the [YES] key. ( If you press the [ NO ] key, you can cancel the back
up.) Upon terminating normally, the system displays the following message. Press the [SELECT] soft key.
