EMCEE SCRIPT FOR JS PROM

Shery: Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and masked marvels, welcome to a night
of mystery, elegance, and enchantment - the Masquerade Ball Junior Senior Prom!

Adam: Tonight, we step into a world of hidden identities and unmasked fantasies, where the
magic of the night unfolds behind every mask and every dance.

Shery: So, without further ado, let the grandeur of the Masquerade Ball commence!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adam: And now, the doors of enchantment swing open to reveal a world of hidden identities and masked
elegance. Prepare to be mesmerized as our attendees make their grand entrance into the ballroom.

Shery: Ladies and gentlemen! The grand entrance!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adam: Sparkling tonight are, Grade 9- Sepulvida and grade 9- Porio, adorned in masks
of sophistication and allure.
Shery: And now, joining the procession of elegance, we have Grade 10- Cafino and Grade 10-
Laturnas. With each step, they embody the spirit of the Masquerade, their masks
concealing their secrets and adding to the intrigue of the evening.

Adam: Next, please welcome Grade 11- Lagondi, as they enter the ballroom in a whirlwind of
enchantment and grace. Their masks, like whispers of a secret, add an air of mystique
to their already dazzling presence.

Shery: Next, joining our enchanting gathering, we have Grade 12- Estoconing. Draped in
elegance and mystery, their masks conceal secrets yet to be revealed, inviting us to
delve deeper into the magic of the night.

Adam: And now, as the grandeur of our Masquerade Ball continues, it is our honor to
welcome the dedicated educators who have guided us on our journey. With masks of
wisdom and grace, please join us in extending a warm welcome to our esteemed
faculty members as they make their grand entrance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shery: And… that wraps up the so-called the B.R.I.G.H.T. version of “Walk of Fame”. You guys
are so hip and fabulous.

Adam: And to formally commence this event, please rise and feel a few moments of solemnity
for an invocation and please remain standing to give honor to our country as we sing
the Philippine National Anthem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adam: You may now be seated. This occasion will not be complete without someone who
welcomes the Guests and Attendees of such, to finally make a point, Ladies and Gentlemen, we
now call in Ryan Mae Llanos, a grade 11 student, for her WELCOME ADDRESS.

Shery: Thank you, Ryan Mae for those heart-warming words of welcome which added balance
to the lightness of the present atmosphere, as we enjoy the night. By the way, Alms, what do you
think is the essence of this event?

Adam: Well… in my own angle of vision, every JS Prom signifies the celebration of awards and
achievements of our senior students and these legacies should be handed over to the
deserving and trustworthy inheritors…..WHO ELSE? The junior students!

Shery: Exactly! Aside from that, all the scholastic emblems held by seniors for one school year
should be bequeathed to their honorable recipients----those symbols of academic victories, co-
curricular triumphs and team-building upheavals.

------------------TURN-OVER BOOK OF RESPONSIBILITY----------------------------------

Adam: As we revel in the magic of the Masquerade Ball, it is our pleasure to mark this
momentous occasion with a symbolic gesture - the turnover of the Book of Knowledge.

Shery: The Book of Knowledge represents the wisdom and experiences gained throughout our
journey, encapsulating the memories, lessons, and aspirations that shape our lives.

Adam: And so, without further ado, I invite Monaliza Miraflor and Aldrin Faith Cuevas to the
stage to mark this momentous occasion.

Shery: With this turnover, let us renew our commitment to education and personal growth,
knowing that the pursuit of knowledge is a journey that transcends time and generations.

------------------TURN-OVER KEY OF RESPONSIBILITY-----------------------------------

Adam: This time, we will recognize the passing of another important symbol - the Key of
Responsibility.

Shery: The Key of Responsibility embodies the trust and accountability entrusted upon our
student leaders, signifying their commitment to serving their peers and community with integrity
and dedication.

Adam: I invite Nora Lindayao and Jeppy Rabago to the stage to honor this tradition.

Shery: With this turnover, let us reaffirm our dedication to leadership and service, knowing
that together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

-----------------------------CANDLE OF GUIDANCE--------------------------------------
Adam: As the flickering flames of our Masquerade Ball illuminate the night, we now have the
passing of candle that symbolizes the light of wisdom and guidance.

Shery: The Candle of Guidance represents the illumination of knowledge, wisdom, and
inspiration that guides us on our journey through life's adventures and challenges.

Adam: I invite Nhowyll Karlo Evasan and Renalyn Malinao to do the honor.

Shery: With this turnover, let us renew our commitment to mentorship and guidance, knowing
that together, we can illuminate the path for others and ourselves.
-------------------------------PROMISE------------------------------------------------
Adam: The Promise Ceremony is a sacred tradition where we pledge our commitments to
ourselves, to each other, and to the ideals that unite us as a community.

Shery: Tonight, we invite Gen Alvie Timagos to make a promise - a vow that reflects her
aspirations, her values, and her dedication to making a positive difference in the world as she
represents her fellow junior high school students.

Adam: Thank you, Gen Alvie.

-------------------------------READING OF CLASS PROPHECY----------------------------

Shery: The Class Prophecy is a tradition that allows us to peer into the realm of possibilities
and imagine the adventures and achievements that await us in the years to come.

Adam: So, we invite you to join us as we unveil the prophecies foretold by our very own class,
a glimpse into the destinies that await each of us. It is a tradition that reminds us of the power of
imagination, the magic of dreams, and the infinite potential that resides within each of us. I invite
Kiera Fabrica to the stage to share with us the Class Prophecy.

Shery: Thank you, Kiera for such eloquence to deliver the contents of our Prophecy. Your road
to success will always be under construction. But with your innate aptitude coupled with great
attitude, you can shape up your altitude with accuracy and fondness. I have no more to say but
“Good luck to the members of the Graduating Class 2024!

--------------------------------EXCHANGE OF TOKENS----------------------------------

Adam: as we continue to immerse immerse ourselves in the enchanting atmosphere, we now

turn our attention to a moment that symbolizes friendship, appreciation, and camaraderie - the
Exchange of Tokens.

Shery: For in the exchange of tokens, we find the true essence of our promenade - a
celebration of love, unity, and the magic of human connection.

---------------------------COTILLION DE HONOR-----------------------------------------
Adam: One of the most awaited parts of this event is the traditional cotillion de honor that
serves as the prelude to the dancing portion of the Prom.

Shery: And to showcase the gracefulness and the inclination of students tonight, let us now
welcome the Cotillion de honor dancers. Let’s give them a big hand with grace and poise!
-----------------------------------DINNER----------------------------------------------

Adam: Thank you, cotillion de honor dancers for your awe- inspiring performance. That
gracefulness in social dances is probably included in the roster of specific legacies of the Senior
Class to be ceded to the Junior Class.

Shery: At this point in time, I am very sure that all of you are excited to devour those splendid
foods served to us. May I call in Cherilyn Cabusog to lead us to prayer.

-AFTER PRAYER-

Adam: IT’S EATING TIME! Let’s enjoy the food in observance of the table etiquette.

----------------------------------AWARDING--------------------------------------------

Shery: Good evening once again! Is the food great? Still craving for another serving?
Seemingly, everyone enjoys taking dinner, so as to be all-set for the next part of the program.

Adam: As we reach the pinnacle of our program, it is time to bestow a special honor upon
those who have captured our hearts and imaginations - the Prom Royalties.

Shery: While we were having fun throughout the night, our Distinguished Board of Judges
started to pick its choice.

Adam: And we have now the results! To announce the Prom Royalties 2024, we would like to
call in the Senior Class Adviser, Ms. Charry Estoconing, to do the honor. Let’s give her a round of
applause.

----------------------------------SWEET DANCE----------------------------------------

Shery: Congratulations to our Prom Royalties 2024. As customary, the winners will grace the
dance and socialization by being the first dances of the floor. As the stars twinkle above and the
music fills the air, it is time for a moment of pure enchantment - the sweet dance of our Prom
Royalties.
- And if you wished to join with them, go, get your partner and get into the dance to the
ultimate and bring down the house, we are now signing off for awhile…..

Adam: For us to cut a mean rug and shake our bodies. In short, to dance the night away!
----------------------------------AFTER DANCE-----------------------------------------

Adam: Congratulations once again to our Prom Royalties! May your dance be as sweet as the
memories you have created tonight.

-------------------------------------SONG----------------------------------------------

Shery: And now, to commemorate this beautiful sense of unity, we have a special song that
speaks to the heart of our shared experience. To start with, let us the Junior Class as they sing Until I
Found You by Stephen Sanchez.

- SENIOR HIGH-
Adam: Thank you, Junior Class. And now, let us lend our ears give a warm round of applause
to our senior high students as they take the stage to perform their special song.

Shery: Let their voices echo the highs and lows, the laughter and tears, of their time together.
Let their song be a testament to the bonds they've formed and the memories they'll carry with
them forever.

--------------------------------ACKNOWLEDGEMENT------------------------------------

Adam: As the night draws to a close and the masks are reluctantly removed, let us carry the
spirit of the Masquerade with us into the future. So, to officially close the curtain of our
enchanted night, may I call in Ms. Mary Grace Tijamo for her acknowledgement.

-------------------------------------------END-----------------------------------------

BOTH: Goodnight, everyone, and may your dreams be as magical as this evening has been.
