It is a receptor that converts energy. Although the lamp is commonly known as a
unified object, the truth is that it can be divided into two parts: on one side is the
luminary (which is the device that serves as a support) and the proper lamp which is the
device that produces the light (bulb).
Although originally the lamps only have the function of lighting a room or sector

A seal is a mammal that can live both in and out of the water. Seals are gray in
color and have thin layers of flat flippers and hairy coats for protection from sand and
rocks. Seals are six meters long and weigh about 150 pounds. Most seals eat a variety of
fish and shellfish. Seals live in the northern hemisphere and they do not migrate.
Pregnant female seals go up on land every spring to have their pups. It takes almost
a full year for a pregnant female seal to have a pup. They have one pup each year. Seals
travel in small groups or large herds and often rest together on land.

Bears are found in the continents of North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Common characteristics of modern bears include a large body with short and solid legs, a
long snout, shaggy hair, plantigrade paws with five nonrestrictive claws, and a short tail.
While the polar bear is mostly carnivorous and the giant panda feeds almost entirely on
bamboo, the remaining six species are omnivorous, with largely varied diets including
both plants and animals.

who can damage the clothes.
Lavenders are sometimes put in medicine, too, and sometimes to prevent infection

NARRATIVE TEXT
1. True Friends
Once upon a time, there were two close friends who were walking through the forest
together. They knew that anything dangerous can happen any time in the forest. So they
promised each other that they would always be together in any case of danger.
Suddenly, they saw a large bear getting closer toward them. One of them climbed a
nearby tree at once. But unfortunately the other one did not know how to climb up the
tree. So being led by his common sense, he lay down on the ground breathless and
pretended to be a dead man.
The bear came near the one who was lying on the ground. It smelt in his ears, and
slowly left the place because the bears do not want to touch the dead creatures. After
that, the friend on the tree came down and asked his friend who was on the ground,
"Friend, what did the bear whisper into your ears?" The other friend replied, "Just now
the bear advised me not to believe a false friend".

1. Holiday in Karimunjawa
I spent my last holiday in Karimunjawa, Central Java with my friends. On the first
day, I arrived at Karimunjawa Harbor at 10.00 after a 12 hour trip with a bus and ferry
boat.
After I arrived, I decided to take a shower and rest for a while. Then, I followed a
trip with our guide to explore a few islands around Karimunjawa.
On the next morning, we went snorkeling and explore more islands. We had fun,
we also ate good food.
On the last day, I went shopping for some souvenirs. After that, I went to the
harbor at 11.00. We arrived in Bandung at 23.00.
I had a wonderful experience in Karimunjawa. It was the best trip of my life.
4. Fatigue
Last Friday was a tiring day. I spent the whole day doing lot of activities and had no
time to take a rest.
First, I went cycling to school in the morning. Then, I studied until 14.00. After
school, I went to football practice in the field.
It was a hard training day and drained my energy.
After that, I went home and took a shower. Before getting ready to sleep, I
remembered that there were homeworks and some projects I still had to do.
I did my homework until 22.00 and finished some video editing for my project until
01.00. Only until then, I could take a rest.
Those activities made me exhausted. Perhaps I will reduce my activites in the future.
