The two grooved cone pieces 6 can then be removed. ~ Slowly relieve pressure un piston 4. ~ Piston 4, valve $ and the spring 7 can now be removed. Assembling ‘The assembling ofthe waste-gate is carried out analogous to the dismantling but in reverse sequence. The stop plate 10 for the valve stroke limitation aswell as the regulating ar pressure on the pressure reducing valve 14 may not be varied, as they have been set in correspondence withthe turbocharger specification. The set values are entered in the setting table. Before assembly, all parts shal be lightly smeared with MOLYKOTE paste. 1 1995 6735-1101 Maintonance Y a 7 2 13} ae | 10 “—N 6 y Si Qn " | ; * SUZ 2) : ae 9 = ~~ 1995 6735-1/A2 1 Testing device 940825 1 Housing 7 Check nut for pneumatic itings 2 Cover 8 Screws and waste-gate 3 Piston 9 Guide ring 4 Pressure regulating valve 10. Specially long screws are builtin for de-tensioning springs 11 and 12. “Attention Assembling ‘Attention Remark ‘Stroke limiting screw 5 must not be adiusted ! = Dismantle piston 3. Clean piston as well as housing 1. — Check piston seal ring 10 and guide ring 9 and replace them if necessary. — After reassembling smear piston lightly with oll and check its easy movement in the casing, Assembling is carried out analogous to dismantling but in reverse sequence. Should gasket 6(1 mm thick) need tobe replaced, ensure that agasket of the same thicknessisagain fitted. Before assembling smear all moving parts lightly with clean engine oil, ‘The holding pressure ofthe waste-gate is adjustable on pressure regulating valve 4, For this adjust- ment utilize the tools contained in testing device 9408.26. With the aid of these adjusting tools the holding pressure can be correctly set. (Please refer to group 6735~ 1 of the Operating Manual). The setting data is recorded inthe setting table. 6735-1/A2 Maintenance “Sie, ZA40S Bo. = ami oe eae Leet teed (fp i
